Okay I know this has probably been done to death. But I am trying to gain ideas for a dungeon with a mixture of combat, traps, and riddles so ill get her started

1.enter a room where black robed humanoids are attacking white robed humanoids(now in most scenarios u assume that the white robed are the good guys and the black are bad in this case the black robed are good guys and the white robed are staked vampires)

2.(The memory room) Have them enter a dungeon room and have to match pictures. Each time they fail a spell or trap goes off

3.A room where magical darkness is present and he needs the directional help of his comrades to escape the room

4.A kobold spawn room. Have an object that keeps gating in kobolds until the stone or orb is destoyed

5.Have the pcs fight monsters in a dead magic zone

6.Have the pcs fight themselves to see how well they know how to play their character.

7.Have the pcs fight invisible stalkers or some creature they cant see

8.Have the pc fight a creature underwater. Kind of hard to fight to full potential either in armor or with out armor.

9.Have the pcs encounter a trap triggered by weight

10.Have a statue in a middle of the room and a scroll attached that reads "if you can hear what i hear" you may enter the next room.

11.TNESSFFTT_ What letter comes next?

12. Have a chest with two dead skeletons and a scroll in one of the skeletons hands. Those that read the scroll says "its a trap" The trap is not the skeletons or the chest but reading the message itself whether it is a explosive ruins or an entrapment spell.

13.Use this for those that have armor. Have a device in your dungeon that acts like a magnet

14.Have the pc have to use Strength check to get through scenario lift a gate move a boulder etc

15 Have them have to use Constitution checks. Have a wretched smell in a room they are getting attacked in.

16.Have a room where a Dex check must be made to make it across. Have severally animated tensers floating disk that have to be jumped on to make across.

17.You appear in a room with a torch and a fountain of water.
there also seems to be a pyre of some sort. When you approach further towards the water a water elemental appears. Your weapon has no effect the only way to stop it is light the pyre which creates a fire elemental to fight for you.

18.Enter a room where there are two chambers one is a teleportation chamber the other a disintegration chamber.

After reading that I believe wizards and some rich folk have toilets that "flush" thier excretment down to an elemental plane of poop.

To go there means to make a fort save every round or be infected with a nasty disease that deals 1d3 con damage.

19) Prisoners from the last adventuring party in a cell block. Unfortunately, its a very paranoid barbarian, CG. save him, but be careful in case he flies off the handle

20) A spirit claims to be a Genie, If you'll just free him from tthe magic circle against his escape...

21) You stumble accross the aenemy armory before the alrm to your presence goes up. Steal the weapons, or, my personal favorite, lots of disable device checks

22) If the PC'S encounter bedchambers, or personal rooms, don;'t just find the mission breaking letter, find loads of personal ones

23) A large hole in the floor, with a large creature at the bottem of a deep pit. Refered to as 'gargage disposal' by the dungeons inhabitants

24) An archway for a door, under which anyone passes will take a will save not to want to leave

25) If the wizard BBEG has an apprentice, he stays to hold off the PC'S. rather than the standard 'Shoot, stab, Kill, the end' his spells are not well made, and he messes up all the time. EG- the explosive runes he leaves for you are accidently specced so that they WON'T explode for the PC's. This can lead to fun, and eventually a possibble new ally

26) Standard explosive runes. 'Nuff said

26. (my favorite trap of all time) The PCs encounter a note dangling from a string in the middle of a hallway. When they approach it the note reads "Look up". Of course, one of them will look at the ceiling. Written on the support beam holding a bunch of massive boulders is one word : SUCKERS! (written with Explosive Runes). BOOM SPLAT!! :D :evillaugh :OMG!

27) There is a room with three monsters that have absolutely no reason to be hanging out together (we'll say a beholder, a mind flayer, and a carrion crawler). Kill them for the XP, and possibly for treasure. Don't ask questions!
