| cleric_of_ted10-16-06, 05:27 PM | 1.his face turns pale as he looks down at what should be inside his stomach and he crumples to the floor with a satisfying thud. |
| WinterPsionic10-16-06, 07:13 PM | 2. Suddenly he realizes he's nothing more then a head and that the warm squishy feeling under his ear is the remnants of his body after ingesting a herbal remedy with a delayed explosize rune of greater power on a few of the leaves..... |
| Androlphas10-16-06, 07:31 PM | (from this weekend's session) 3. You pummel the "bird-man" (kenku) with a flurry of blows. Unable to defend against the onslaught, it collapses in a bloody heap of black feathers and pieces of broken beak. |
| kelvinaw27310-16-06, 08:36 PM | 4. Awesome shot! The arrow simultaneously removes all wax from both ears ... Not gory, but highly amusing. For gory, try the 'critical hits' from Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, the original edition. One pin-prick and there were fountains of blood all over the place ... |
| Bowmore10-16-06, 10:38 PM | 5. George Dunewalker (a half-giant) brings his special Peacebringer guild hammer down on the goblin, flattening it with a cross between a sickening crunch and a wet, soppy splat noise. When he pulls the hammer away, the Peacebringer guild's insignia is clearly imprinted on the poor goblin's remains. (The Peacebringers were a guild of vicious warriors whose philosophy was to destroy both sides in a conflict, thereby bringing peace. They were mercenaries for hire and freelance police with a reputation for getting the job done. A half-giant psychic warrior in one of my games, George Dunewalker, was a member of the Peacebringers. His hammer had their insignia on the hitty-part.) |
| speeblefreak10-16-06, 11:19 PM | *starts counting until Cat moves the thread* 6. The goblin's body officially qualifies as a liquid. |
| cleric_of_ted10-17-06, 02:56 PM | well he's got little of his brain left after the battle axe came sweeping through the air. |
| CryoSilver10-17-06, 03:07 PM | 8: The goblin pops like a gerbil in a microwave. |
| halflingvampire10-17-06, 07:10 PM | The goblin is instantly incinerated, leaving nothing but a fine dust after the smoke from your fireball's impact dissipates :mage: |
| Ashok_Lal10-17-06, 07:39 PM | 10. The gobbo is just a cloud of pink mist. |
| speeblefreak10-17-06, 09:11 PM | 11. As you drive your fist into the goblin's head, confetti begins to rain from the sky...no, wait, those are teeth. |
| Myree10-17-06, 09:16 PM | 12. What's left of him slides down the wall into a shapeless puddle. |
| Silverthumb12810-18-06, 02:01 AM | 13. The Half-Elf is quickly reduced to two Quarter Elves, and surprisingly, about as useful as the original. :D |
| Haruspex10-18-06, 03:17 AM | 14. The hammer catches him on the back of his helmeted head, the impact knocking both his eyes out of their sockets. As he searches for his eyeballs, the second blow puts him out of his misery. |
| Razieliffied10-18-06, 03:30 AM | 15. Driving your blade up and into the mouth of the demon, hilt shattering teeth in the process, a final burst of blood sprays into the air slowly freezing. Blinking you realise the the creature is frozen, it's blood hanging frozen in the air, splintered pieces of bone half way between shattering, everything is still. I use this one for most demon and devil lords, the idea is that they are removed to another time and/or existence. The weapon cant be pulled free. |
| Kargush10-18-06, 04:51 AM | 16. Not so gory, but amusing: our level 15 monk had charged a lvl 2 rogue that stood by the side of the road(long story). He hit, and smashed him. Like so: "You make a flying kick that connects squarely with his abdomen. He folds around your foot before being thrown into the shrubbery along the road, disappearing from sight, and leaving a small trail of blood and guts behind." |
| halflingvampire10-18-06, 07:16 AM | your last attack leaves behind nothing but a red mist and a certain amount of paperwork to be done |
| bgt10-18-06, 07:43 AM | Not a combat description, but it started a combat... 18. The room you have just entered appears to be some sort of crude operating room. Rivulets of blood can be seen acros the floor, and a black ichor fills a wall-mounted basin. An assortment of knives and other sharp implements lie atop a small wooden table, and are flecked with gore. In the center of the room, tied atop another table is a naked woman of almost unnatural beauty. As you enter the room, she looks up at you and tries to speak, but gags, causing some more of the black ichor to ooze from her mouth. Suddenly, her stomach begins to expand and darken, like some sort of sick, fleshy bubble. With a sickening pop, her skin ruptures and a vile mass of tentacles slides to the ground. The woman's heads lolls to the side, and the alien blob of tentacles begins to ooze towards you. Roll for initiative. Only two of my players had anything to say following this: "Holy :censored: !" and "Congrats ma'am, it's a boy!" |
| halflingvampire10-18-06, 10:26 AM | The goblin's body now officially has the exact consistency as a bowl of pudding |
| Odinn10-18-06, 02:39 PM | This actually happened in a session a couple of years ago, so the details are a bit fuzzy (especially the number of orcs involved). 20. The players (including me) were inside a building being pursued by orcs. We were on the third floor(ish) and had somehow managed to jump out a window and were safely on the ground. And then the fun started. DM: An orc jumps out of the window after you, his head violently hits the ground, causing blood and bits of brain to flood the street. A second orc jumps out of the window and manages to land without serious injury. While he is getting on his feet, another orc jumps down and unfortunatily he lands on the others spear wich impales him and knockes the other one out. Yet another orc jumps out of the window landing on his behind. Causing his sphincter to break, wich in turn causes a large amount of feces to spill out. So now the street is flooded with blood, brain and feces. |
| RobbyPants10-18-06, 03:40 PM | 21) You throw his (the solider's) heart at the wizard's protective sphere. It sticks to the side, sliding down with a trail of blood. The wizard vomits and loses concentration. The sphere disapears. This happened in an old 2E game my friend was running. I was playing a man-eating minotaur. The wizard got head-butted into a tree! That game was great. All kinds of limb tearing! |
| speeblefreak10-18-06, 07:54 PM | 22. "I search the [dead] ogre." "You find a half-digested goblin head." 23. "The orc explodes, completely coating the walls of the small room in blood and tiny bits of flesh." |
