If you're a wizard capable of casting this spell does it really matter? :P

There was a 2e spell called "The Unceasing Vigilance of the Holy Sentinel ". It probably took longer to say the spell's name than to cast the stupid thing.

A buddy of ours played a cleric who, when about to cast the spell, would gravely announce the spell's name in a drawn-out mock-serious fashion with a deep voice. We got to calling it "The Unceasing Pomposity of the Holy Sentinel "
fatal error

Standard Action. There's nothing truly standard about it, Attack Action is much clearer to its general meaning, and opposes Move Action better.

Rapier, scimitar, falchion, and possibly a couple other weapons. But that's more the fault of the artists than the people who named them, I guess.

Seriously Ghost Faced Killer is not only a sick name but a damn fine rap artist as well.

Halfling, i cant for the life of me figure out what its half of, or if you give it a non-standard genealogy its a half-halfling.

One, two! One, two! And through and through
His vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

Lewis Carroll ftw:ayyyy!:

Falchion. Falchions were not traditionally two handed weapons. I think that sticking with the "Executioner's Scimitar" in Al-Qadim(spelling?)would have been better. How about Great Scimitar? There are greatswords.....why not a great scimitar?

No the worst enemy ever would be the 'Worm that walks' from epic level handbook. Also 'Necropolitans' from Libris Mortis make me think about make-up and girly magazines...

There are, just they're in Sandstorm and not the PHB.

Thank god i have a sympathizer. A while back my friend really got into the Cthulhu Mythos and incorporated all of the psuedo-lovecraftian stuff he could find into the game, namely the worm-that-walks
