| mindflayer4u11-09-07, 05:33 PM | I just purchased the Inn Fighting card game to use in my D&D campaign, now what would be a good reason for a brawl to break out. Just take 20 ideas and write them down in a list, roll a d20 and presto you got yourself a tavern brawl. After that idea is used replace it with a new one. A fight breaks out on a 1 or 20. Just one roll per tavern visit, after all the owner needs time to repair the damages. 1. A person is found cheating at a card or dice table. 2. A confrontation between a couple drunk patrons. 3. A pickpocket is caught red handed. |

If anyone comments on your actions at any time... SMASH the tray full of drinks into the barmaid's face, breaking her nose!!! Then draw your rapier and hope for the best. Random patron: What? I'm not done yet. I'll be done in maybe twenty minutes. Barbarian: Well, I just want a quick drink. You can have your seat back once I'm done. It'll only be ten minutes or so. Patron: No! I was here first. You can have my seat once I'm done, but I don't see why I should move for you! Barbarian: (Increasingly angry, and beginning to draw his longsword) Listen: I am a hero of this realm. I have slain demons and horrid aberrations. I have saved thousands of lives of defenseless sheep like you from indescribable horrors from the lower planes. You are some random **** farmer. I have been courteous and respectful up until now, but if you continue to defy me and pretend equal standing to me, then I shall have no choice but to take it as an insult to my honor. Cleric of St. Cuthbert (from behind): Hey! Knock it off. He was there first, bigshot. Barbarian: Who are you to presume to tell me what to do? (You can see where this is going, I think) |
