Well, Up the Rebels is common to many a revolt--that's why the 5000 exp were for the other one. I may be mistaken about this (not really ever paying attention to the one source of county nick-names I encounter regularly) but isn't Cork the rebel county or am I mistaken? It was a study done on the american war of independance a few years back that showed a marked advantage to using longbows instead of muskets in the few units that did use them. They were easier to learn to use and comparatively fast to reload so if we'd decided to use bows instead of pikes we would have had: A: A better rate of fire, better mobility than the british gun formations along with comparable acuraccy (hey, just aim at the the middle and see what happens) and B: More troops to put into the field as bows are far more easily disguised and hidden than pikes are hence resulting in less arrests amongst those arming up in preperation.
