Hi, everybody, I was just considering the fact that aside from magical alignment change and alignment change caused by drastic action there are also lots of little things that could cause you to change alignment over time. I thought it might be fun to list them.

Towards good:

1. Healing someone for no charge.

2. Donating to charity even if you don't have to.

3. Refusing rewards.

Towards evil:

4. Torturing prisoners.

5. Killing the helpless.

6. Stealing from friends.

Towards chaos:

7. Smashing an unlocked chest.

8. Bribing your way to an official rather than following procedure.

9. Making jokes at inappropriate times.

Towards law:

10. Crossing the street in designated places.

11. Wiping your feet before you enter a building.

12. Addressing everyone by their proper title.

Its hard to say. It can have a long process. A good char wont just burn puppies out of the blue. You just cant make a huge hop. Your alignment relativiley defines your char in some ways. If youre the type to change your mind often try starting the game in a middle alignment.

Plus burning puppies is not good enough

Try... Giving it to a little girl but after she has some fun with it,smack it on the head with a frying pan, not enough to kill it but enough to have it wiggle around aimlessley and twitch some. When she starts crying, crack it in half, nice and noisey like. Now you skin it, make some leather and give it to her as a hat or somthing.

Now your good to go  . I could make it worse but then I would encur bannage :(

No im not evil or sadystic just chaotic neutral ;)

That does make you a good person. Refusing your salary means that you just did a month's worth of community work.

Burn People - Towards Evil

Doesnt that depend on the alignment of the people you are burning?

And where would running around the twon/city/village only covered in green jello and kicking all the beggars, come on the evil/good/law/chaos spectrum?

Maybe.

Towards evil and chaos. Unless of course the beggars are actually thieves, in which case it's only toward chaos. Unless of course you don't know about it, in which case it's towards evil and chaos. But definetely chaos. Is this an actual suggestion?

if you want it to be, I was just thinking of inane things.

40. Capturing fairies and pinning them on boards and then putting them in display boxes.
41. Casting sleep on a full village inn then buring the village down.
42. Casting sleep on a bunch of goblins, then re-arranging them into positions from the Karma Sutra.
43. Doing the same in a guards barracks.
44. Going into a dungeon, killing everything inside, taking all the treasure and then bragging about it in the inn. (I have never been able to get my head around why that would be classed as a good deed, even if the monsters are evil, killing and pillaging their bodies is not a good thing to do).
45. over throwin a goverment and ruling the city with an iron fist.

five step process to become evil:
1) Destroy all milk in house/apartment/dorm
2) Give Friend/Roommate/ Sibling a peanut butter sandwich
3) Inform them of your deed
4) Find new victim
5) Repeat

My personal opinion is that the gods themselves have decreed that there shall be a cast of heroes for whom murder and graverobbing would not be punished, so long as it was done in a certain way against certain creatures. Then they placed those creatures there. So, ultimately, if a goblin is slain by heroes, it's because it was placed in that world for that very purpose.

Towards good. Wouldn't your day be better if you saw someone only covered in green jello run up and kick a begger? Wouldn't that just make you laugh for a week and give you a great story to tell?

Sure, a begger gets kicked, but

A: It's not permanent

B: Many more watchers than beggers

So it would move you to good. Possibly Law if the beggers were loitering.

I disagree but I suppose you're free to hold an opinion. For now.
