06-01-06, 04:22 PM Looking for funny ideas as to how to introduce a new character while also poking fun at the "pc stamp".

1: You see a bald man with his hands crossed. Tattooed on his forehead are P and C...the holy symbols around his neck suggests they stand for Pelor and Corellon. This marks him as a worshipper of good deities and someone who is to be trusted.

On the shield, and also engraved on the breastplate she proudly wears, are the letters P.C. They are surrounded by a fiery dragon, biting its own tail. "Greetings," she says. "My name is [insert name here], I have been looking for you. My family, the PureColors, are in trouble and we've heard that you are the people to turn to."

Having heard that adventuring can be difficult if attempted alone, you seek a band of friends to assist you in your path to fame and glory. But wehre? Ahead, you spot a tavern with an old faded sign hanging above the door: PC. You enter, and eventually gather up the courage to ask the bartender the meaning of the odd name. He replies that it was a compromise. The owner wasn't willing to pay to have the full name inscribed on the sign:
