| ZeronHitaro10-07-06, 08:52 PM | 10. As DM, invite your girlfriend / wife to play. :P Unless she already loves Roleplaying. 12. Introduce the Paladin to the Can of Unending Beans and have him roleplay it. |
| TheChilliGod10-07-06, 08:52 PM | 13: Split up. Constantly. For extended periods of time. Preferably so that everyone's doing something different. 14: Take a wizz on everyone you meet. From Commoners to Kings. |
| speeblefreak10-07-06, 09:02 PM | 15. Pun-Pun. 16. Kill the DM. 17. Play a VERY lightweight character and use a decanter of endless water to blast yourself into space. 18. Find out exactly what happens when you put yoursel in a bag of holding and then put the bag into a portable hole. 19. Find a deck of many things, give it to a random commoner, wait for the smoke to clear, rinse and repeat with everyone you meet. 20. Contact the Harpells for any reason. |
| Anung_Un_Rama10-07-06, 09:04 PM | 21. Play a chaotic evil dark elf samurai and kill townsfolk for absolutely no reason. |
| Titan W10-07-06, 09:08 PM | 22: Hastur, Hastur, Hastur... 23: Sphere of Anniahlation 24: Open a portal to Asmodeus's castle and enter it. |

| aekilez10-07-06, 09:35 PM | touche, 27. Lick everything! 28. Discover how long you can hold your breathe in a deep lake. 29. Spend all your money on rocks and nothing else. 30. Run all the way through a dungeon screaming. "We're off to see the wizard the wonderful wizard of oz" |
| speeblefreak10-08-06, 12:52 AM | 31. Sleep 24/7 (in-game). |
| angryman10-08-06, 04:45 AM | 27. Lick everything! All I can say is, I did that in one campaign and eventually licked a rage-inducing mushroom and proceeded to lay the smackdown on the party until I was killed. |
| AZNsupermarket10-08-06, 04:12 PM | 27. Lick everything! I tried doing that in the very first game I played. I saw a pool of blood on the ground and claimed I could tell what kind of creature it was from just by taste alone. The thing a forgot was that we were just outside a plague-ridden villiage. |
| Kasai_Saka10-08-06, 08:52 PM | 32: Attempt to kil every single important NPC that comes into play. 33: Gouge out the other party members eyes, cut off their hands and feet, tie them to a boulder, and roll it off a mountain. (The players and DM will be REALLY angry). |
| TheCheeseWiddler10-11-06, 11:01 PM | #34: Be the party's strong arm, and half way through the campaign become a drunken pacifist. #35: Visit a tavern, steal all the silverwear, run the nearest mayor's house, thrown all the silverwear on her, and blame her for stealing everything. #36: Say that you wander off for awhile, come back late and claim that you've hit your head, and are a vampric elk. #37: Storm into the nearest king's castle, demand to see the king, and tell him about all your aches and pains with your current adventurers. Once you've finished with that, demand that the king provide you with some able bodied troops to accompany you as proof that your other teamates are worthless. -Ky |
| Manyfist10-12-06, 01:21 AM | #38.) Every chance you get, try to kill your partymates. "Crap Bob the fighter is going down from BBEG" "I perform Back Stab on Bob!" "Wtf!" |
| halflingvampire10-12-06, 09:24 AM | group of implosion-using mages...nuff said :schemes: |
| razorboy10-12-06, 10:38 AM | 10. As DM, invite your girlfriend / wife to play. Personally, I'm not amused. What about DM's inviting their boyfriends instead? Why is there still a perception that only heterosexual male DMs are going to be victims to their significant others' wiles and ruin the game? That's a really unfair. Not to say, that I've both played and DMd with my wife, and wives/girlfriends of other DMs, and never had a problem arise because of it. But to contribute to the thread: 40) Base the storyline around one player's background/presence in the game, then watch the campaign fall apart when that player leaves or decides to switch characters. 41) Allow the party (or lack of foresight) to use cheap tricks like Bracelet of Friends, or "shrink and put party into Portable Hole", then watch the party skip through a whole dungeon filled with clues, and go straight for the end boss. |
| Cthulhu312510-12-06, 10:43 AM | group of implosion-using mages...nuff said :schemes: Especially because it's a cleric spell... |
| Label10-12-06, 12:15 PM | 42) refuse all quests offered unless they pay you at least 200% of the share NOW, and when it's done, kill the NPC who paid you and loot him. Then go in a tavern and drink. 43) stay in the town and play DnD-variant of The Sims. 44) same as 43 but play a DnD-variant of SimCity (true story... as I heard so far.) 45) play a couple of kender and really, really annoy the mayor of the town, until it is revealed that he's a werewolf and he kills the kender, before eating them roasted. (true story too, the game lasted... 1 session and a half.) |
| rudie10-12-06, 12:43 PM | 46. Put a portable hole in a bag of holding 47. play a cleric without weapons and who doesnt use spells and tries to convert eveyone he sees |
| halflingvampire10-12-06, 01:19 PM | summon tiamat+bahamut...world-destroying match-up |

| Cryforge10-12-06, 07:23 PM | 52. Drink down the contents of the Iron Flask of Tuerney the Merciless. 53. Read the books! (May only apply to Call of Cthulhu...) |
| halflingvampire10-13-06, 12:47 PM | use vorpal weaapons, and wear the heads of your foes as a cloak, or armor, or use them as throwing weapons(great aggro on anything) |
| halflingvampire10-13-06, 12:49 PM | play a cleric of Pelor who runs around in a red cloak and hat, and says to everyone he meets, "nobody suspects the spanish inquisition!" or something to that effect. |
| halflingvampire10-13-06, 12:53 PM | 56)use any of the Psionics handbooks...enough to kill off the storyline and the players(brains explode):thinks: 57)meticulously examine every dungeon feature when you see it or hear it described. 2 hours of examining the importance of the feature to the story is usually good. |
| RobbyPants10-13-06, 02:09 PM | 58) When describing events to the players, try and tlak lkie tihs so tehy cna't unerdsantd a wrod yuo'er syaing. (amazing how much eaiser it is to read then pronouce phonetically ;)) |
| Krusk10-13-06, 03:29 PM | Befor i list any, we all had decided we were done playing this campaign because the dm was doing a lousy job. had not told the dm yet. 59-When your teleported to top floor of what appears to be a cathedral by a railroading dm and cant find a way out. jump out the nearest window. apparently we were not ment to leave the cathedral, so he hadnt planned anything below it. 60-Break back into the first floor of said cathedral and steal the gems off the statues to the God it is for. When the dm reveals the stature to be an iron golem that is ridicilusly too hard for your level 12 characters, refuse to run. Eventually kill it using the cheapest tactics ever. 61-drag said iron golem to the nearest town revealing your retarded strength score. attempt to pawn. When dm says your getting tired from dragging it, whip out the decanter of endless air, and carry it underwater to the town. 62-attack people until they finally pay for the adamantium golem. or for you to leave. Then whip out your character sheet for the other campaign you were going to play. |
| LCD2YOU10-13-06, 03:45 PM | 63 Run to Wizards Forums, go to "What's a DM to do" and whine about your players. Don't forget to use their real names. 64 As 63 but go to "What's a Player to do" and whine about your DM. Again, don't forget to use real names. 65 Go to the boards and ask for a new group as you can't stant your old one. Don't forget to use real names. |
| Orchomenos10-13-06, 03:49 PM | 66- Player: "Hey, I just bought PH2, can I make this and that quest to rework my character?" 67- DM: "Hey, I just bought "Return to Castle Ravenloft", it's very nice, but it doesn't fit my storyline... unless... 68- If your character die, insist on playing a character who's both parents are level 19 retired adventurers... |
| SeptimusMagistos10-13-06, 05:28 PM | 60-Break back into the first floor of said cathedral and steal the gems off the statues to the God it is for. When the dm reveals the stature to be an iron golem that is ridicilusly too hard for your level 12 characters, refuse to run. Eventually kill it using the cheapest tactics ever. I am very interested in thes tactics. Could you reveal them? |
| krossbow10-13-06, 10:11 PM | I am very interested in thes tactics. Could you reveal them? Summon your Druid's Rust monster companion! :P (Hah, had a houseruled OK of this, and it ****** the DM off when he realized he'd just Screwed his villian's golems) |
| halflingvampire10-16-06, 10:11 AM | rusting grasp...shocking grasp...heat/chill metal...warp metal...etc. |
| RobbyPants10-16-06, 11:53 AM | To plan an adventure with no idea what your PC's spell lists look like. Even better is to try and shoehorn in some quick fix afterward! |
| Shaggy_Shaggs10-16-06, 12:02 PM | #+1. Become the BBEG's best friend in the world. Remain good, and dedicated to stopping anything horrible the BBEG does, but doggedly perservere in being kind, supportive, trustworthy and available to the BBEG otherwise. Maintain this until the BBEG realizes he/she/it is never going to be able to get rid of you, and decides he/she/it doesn't want to anyway, gives up on struggling against you, and joins you. Shoots world corruption/domination plans right through the heart. |
| halflingvampire10-16-06, 12:31 PM | populate the world with nothing but dragons, fey, and other high-level nasties |
| halflingvampire10-16-06, 12:33 PM | consistently and overdramatically kill off each character. Multiple times. |
