When the fighter gets grappeled underwater by an adult black dragon and maneges to kill it armed only with a +1 kukri of speed and no buffs. (happened to my half-orc fighter/cleric)

When Elminster shows up to testify on behalf of your char because "he's not that bad of a guy." (same char)

I want to know if some of these are actually true, or jokes... because all of mine are real occurances.

19. The enemy is described as a 400ft tall construct with 12 legs and a head set with two rows of razor sharp teeth, and is shooting blasts of sonic energy out of its mouth, and the response from the party is, "Eh... we can take it." And proceeds to do so, and win.

For those who don't know, Bankai is the greatest form of whatever weapon is being used by characters from an anime show called "Bleach". I think the intermediary form of the weapons are known as Shikai but I'm not certain. Very good show and a very good idea for legacy weapons. Thanks Mattarias!

I dunno, but the one about going from level 12 to level 21 in one fight actually happened a few years ago in one of our campaigns.

20.) In a battle with the campaign's main villain, the PCs are only required to... hack through the bad guy's damage reduction and inflict at least one point of damage to end the fight. Doesn't sound hard right? Well, I forgot to mention that the villain has damage reduction 92/adamantine...

24. When the party monk does a jump check just to punch a hole in the moon and survives.

25. When the party monk does a jump check just to punch a hole in the sun and survives.

26. When you toss your +10 shocking burst flaming burst keen expansion vorpal murcurial greatsword of speed because it's 'not powerful enough' and 'not valueable enough to sell'.

27. When the character that only took levels in barbarian can cast epic spells.

28. You own your own deity farm.

29. When the characters have been dead for 80 years they can still kill you with a thought, without being undead.

That doesn't sound hard at all. What, you don't have a magic user? Orb Spells my friend, orb spells. Or for me, a simple arcane strike. Plus it helps I have adamtnine weapons. That battle would be over in a single round.

*Sigh, I guess it's confession time*

35) The party paladin kills a ancient red dragon wyrm (whose had time to buff himself with spells) by himself in a single round. He then grabs the dead dragon's jaws and like a ventrioquist's doll, makes it mouth the words "And I will kill you all" (God, I laughed so hard when I saw that scene in King Kong when Kong did that with the dead tyranno because of this)

36) The monk jumps off a 2-story tall tower to kick a drow mage with a cube of force up - and not only kills the mage, but hits him so hard his skeleton flies out the back of his body

37) The barbarian walks up to the edge of the 1000 ft. cliff, goes "Watch this" and jumps. Then after crawling out of the crater at the bottom, proceeds to kill the BBEG evil guy.

yyeeaah... still, honestly, if it's done the same way (or close enough to the way) it's done in the anime/manga, i wouldn't complain about a defeat so cool. -at least not OOC. :)

(This is true... our barbarian didn't even get a turn last campaign to fight, because our fighter one shotted the boss... and then I blew up all its minions)

-When You have over 10 million hit points and are capable of coming back to life the second you die.... and because of this occasionally die more than once per round in you average type of fight against creatures that make the elder gods tremble.

-When if you don't have the equivalent of 100 million gold you can't get anything worthwhile, so you start trafficking in the souls of nations as your new form of currency.

Wouldn't that mean the end of the campaign, though? After all, he's the secret end boss of D&D so that must mean there's nothing left after you beat him...
