| Rangerkeeper312-17-06, 07:31 PM | :schemes: :schemes: 1.Rust monsters-they can rust all your weapons. give the monster and the reason you think they are annoying |
| SeptimusMagistos12-17-06, 07:40 PM | 2. Intelligent undead-they drain levels. |
| Rangerkeeper312-17-06, 07:42 PM | Teresque- They can slice you in half. |
| Gamfallen12-17-06, 07:44 PM | 4. Darkmantles, 'cause theyplop on your head:D My players agree that was one of their scariest fights. |
| Far_Traveler12-17-06, 07:45 PM | Tarassque- he gets extra hp if you don't spell his name correctly |
| Rangerkeeper312-17-06, 07:50 PM | sorry i didn't thing when i was typing it.:weep: |
| Chippy_the_Devourer12-17-06, 08:45 PM | Either: 1. Mr. Grumpy, AKA the Tarrasque. Since its big toe is about the same size as me, fighting it isn't the easiest thing to do. Or particularly sane. 2. Bulettes. I had so much fun playing Jaws, I automatically run from anything that can eat me. Which might contribute to my fear of above creature. |
| balor6412-17-06, 09:30 PM | Tarassque- he gets extra hp if you don't spell his name correctly Tarrasque, it gets extra AC too, if you don't spell its name correctly twice.:P |
| CryoSilver12-17-06, 10:01 PM | I don't know what you're all complaining about: the Tarrasque is very easy to fight. 6: Incorporeal undead when you have no magic weapons. |
| Selena Ombrenoire12-17-06, 10:04 PM | 5) Living spell (Confusion) One of my personal favorite, it's only a CR4 but if the PCs fail their will save, it can get really messy. |
| TheAngryFish12-18-06, 07:38 PM | I don't know what you're all complaining about: the Tarrasque is very easy to fight. Which tarrasque are you talking about? Can't be the one in the Monster Manual, you know, the one that can't be killed. |
| CryoSilver12-18-06, 07:42 PM | Yea, the one that can't fight anything that flies, has incorporeality, or other immunity to melee. That one. The one that can't do anything but hit you with natural weapons. It's pretty ridiculously easy to fight. Round 1: Fly away Round 2-whenever: Save or dies until nat 1 Round whenever+1: Wish ??? Profit |
| freeholder12-18-06, 09:44 PM | More annying then this. Lich, Half fiend, wings, Tassapue with Hydra DNA added for 12 heads, 12 bite attacks, and Red Dragon DNA added for awsomeness. This creature actually appeared in a game when the one PC who was using your stupid flying stadagy wished the big guy was tougher. No one ever figured out its CR or stats, the DM made up some damage and ac stats and threw out a few spells, RED dragon, and said the PCs were dead. Anyone know what the stats would be. |
| Mattarias12-18-06, 09:52 PM | 7?) STIRGES. they suck. literally. contitutuion drain, anyone? i shudder to think of what a swarm of them could do.. |
| Salla12-18-06, 10:07 PM | Anything with improved grapple. I hate the grapple rules. :) |
| Mattarias12-18-06, 10:09 PM | Anything with improved grapple. I hate the grapple rules. :) ugh. yuuup. another reason why stirges are horrible buggers. |
| Silverthumb12812-18-06, 10:41 PM | I think we're close to 10? What? Anyways. 10ish) Nightwalker. Look at me, I'm really big, will take your weapons and smush em. |
| Cryforge12-19-06, 01:10 AM | 11. Balhannoths from MM4 drop from the ceiling, grapple foes easily, can detect magic auras, and can neutralize casters when they are grappled. Boy, did my group have fun with this guy. |
| Far_Traveler12-19-06, 01:39 AM | I don't know what you're all complaining about: the Tarrasque is very easy to fight. Eh, I was just harping on him for not even getting close to the spelling, and then mispelt it myself to set up for a joke. Well done btw balor64. |
| Captain_Willard12-19-06, 11:31 AM | Vile Drow Chaos Monks. |
| Dragon Snack12-19-06, 11:37 AM | 13 (?). Corrupters of Fate (MMIV). They never did present any real threat to the party, but it wasted a few hours of game time thanks to making the party roll twice for attack and damage... |
| Manyfist12-19-06, 11:53 AM | Pun Pun... ;) |
| DwarfPcfan12-19-06, 12:58 PM | 14- Spellscale npcs... |
| Sphyre12-19-06, 01:29 PM | :schemes: :schemes: 1.Rust monsters-they can rust all your weapons. give the monster and the reason you think they are annoying That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the thread title. I have used them before DMing, and they are a blast to run. What's more fun? The Elder Rust Monster 7?) STIRGES. they suck. literally. contitutuion drain, anyone? i shudder to think of what a swarm of them could do.. I was in a campaign where stirges were used. The player who played the paladin, when ever reminded of D&D, will say ":censored: stirges!" :D |
| Rulebook12-19-06, 01:39 PM | ill go further and say 15. Fiendish Stirges i ran a campaign where there was a swarm (not Swarm) of like 30 of them. against low level characters who cant pelt themwith area effect fire spells (nice fire resist) and a bonus 16. Xorn. earth sliding, high strength, very high ac... they SUCK. killed my beautiful pixie in one hit at the con. |
| Mattarias12-19-06, 10:13 PM | ill go further and say 15. Fiendish Stirges  meep.. i really hope my DM doesn't see this.. |
