101 Highest AC [Archive] - Wizards Community

1)my 10lvl Dwarven Defender who could get his AC into the 60's

11-29-05, 08:31 PM The record, at least according to the Character Optimization Board is 302, achieved by Otto the Bugbear. In addition, their thread of world records recommends you give Stoned Golem's thread a look if you're interested in having a really low AC that's useful.

Edit: Yar, Zherog is faster than I. Slight correction though, Urnsk is the author of the final build, based on Otto's work, which reached 193 originally, then 219 with minor board member contribution.

That is the finite AC record however, it ignores abusive rules exploits in favor of detail optimization and bonus stacking in detail builds. Infinite armor class is possible with a deepwarden polymorphed into a shambling mount being hit with electricity repeatedly, and an armor class approaching 5000 is possible using the Nanobot Technique (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=458721) authored by LordofProcrastination.
