| Nizkateth05-02-05, 09:59 AM | A couple question: 1 - Does the cold resistance from the Waterspawn and Starspawn aberration feats stack? Does a winged aquatic monster of a human have 10 cold resistance or just 5? 2 - How does Tsochari spell resistance work? The standard has SR 14, the sample cleric riding in the half-farspawn has 14, and the sample sorcerer replacing Deros has 19. If Tsochar SR is based on hit dice I'm missing the equation. |
| Seeker9505-02-05, 11:24 AM | 1. Cold resistance does not stack. It overlaps, regardless of source. 2. The SR works like any other SR works. Depending on the sorcerer in question (and any magic items s/he may have?) you might have found a typo, if you cannot find any other explanation. |

| Nizkateth05-03-05, 02:37 PM | Thanks for the help. I think there may be a typo with the two sample tsochar, since neither have any spell resistance items but both have advanced hit dice and class levels. |
| Morwen05-04-05, 02:00 AM | Half-Farspawn provides spell resistance equal to HD + 10. So, the sample 7th level Half-Farspawn Human/Tsochar cleric has correct stats. The other one looks like a typo, though. |
| Nizkateth05-04-05, 10:24 AM | That's pretty much what I figured, since if the Tsochar has spell resistance of Racial HD + 10 then the one in the cleric would be fine since it has no extra racial hit dice, but the sorcerer should have 18 not 19. If they are supposed to add based on class levels as well as racial hit dice like drow and illithid do then I'm really confused since then their SR should be in the 20's. |
