12-07-06, 08:20 AM		I know that monsters normally have the standard array/15-point buy (11, 11, 11, 10, 10, 10), and that the game is designed (CR's etc) assuming the PC's are built with 25-point buy/elite array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8).

Has anyone consistently used 25-point buy or the elite array for all standard monsters, and if so how did it work out (EL/CR's etc?

So it would be 25-point buy characters vs. 25-point buy monsters.

12-07-06, 08:26 AM		As stated in the Monster Manual (table 4-4, page 294), giving a monster the elite array increases its Challenge Rating by +1.
