| The Edda05-27-06, 07:22 AM | When using the 28 point buy system (for 'tougher' campaigns), is there a recommended 'default array'? (For example, the default array for 25 points is '15, 14, 13, 12, 10, and 8'.) |
| valvorik05-27-06, 08:31 AM | You can simply raise 15 to 16 and 13 to 14 to get two oomphs. The way I do it though is that each class has its own recommended array, when you look at the standard ones, the extra 3 points are used to tailor for either intended multiclass or personality (the fighter who is going to use Power Attack gets it all in Strength, the one that is doing to use Combat Expertise gets some Intelligence etc.). |

| Gryllmyre05-27-06, 01:17 PM | 16, 14, 14, 10, 10, 10 16, 14, 12, 12, 10, 10 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 14, 14, 14, 14, 10, 10 14, 14, 12, 12, 12, 12 I dunno. |
| The Edda05-27-06, 03:34 PM | 16, 14, 14, 10, 10, 10 16, 14, 12, 12, 10, 10 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 14, 14, 14, 14, 10, 10 14, 14, 12, 12, 12, 12 I dunno. Heh :D Hmm, ok, I just wondered. I'm sure the Mark of Heroes campaign used to use 28 point buy; the fastplay characters available for download use 25 points though, so maybe my memory fails me here. It's a shame, because if the fastplay characters did use 28 points, there would probably be an observable 'default array' used by WOTC. |
