11-28-05, 12:34 AM I just joined a group of people that are playing a custom campaign with 2E rules. I have never played 2E and I was wondering if anyone can help me out with what books to find so that I can read up on the rules and such.

11-28-05, 12:44 AM You'd need to find the 2E PHB at a local game store (if they still have it or sell OOP material.) Or one of the finer online retailers. Check the link at the top of the OOP board for where.

11-28-05, 01:52 AM Amazon and ebay are both good places to locate AD&D books, usually fairly cheap as well. Depending on urgency, I'd estimate 4-5 dollars at the most, on ebay.

11-28-05, 02:32 AM If you've got a Half-Price Books near you, I've always found them to be a good source of old D&D stuff.

11-28-05, 02:01 PM A used book store near you will also probably have them. You aslo don't have to pay the God forsaken shipping that most of the people on Ebay expect you to pay for it that way.
