| jbIII06-13-06, 04:22 PM | I'm in the process of converting "Feast of Goblyns" to 3.5 and was wondering if anyone had sucessfully translated a wolfwere (not werewolf) to 3.5. I know that they're a bit "beefier" than werewolves... I was thinking about just treating them as a werewolf with 2 fighter levels... |

| SokenzanMarauder06-14-06, 04:09 AM | For us 1st-2nd edition monster lovers I've just got to recommend the book from White Wolf(they're the publishers, it was developed by Necromancer Games) called Tome of Horrors. It has got a literal crap load of converted monsters from first and second edition. I'm currently waiting for my copy in the mail, but I know for sure that it contains the wolfwere. There's also two other Tome of Horror books beyond the first. -Gene |
| Velcro Zipper06-14-06, 08:44 PM | I once needed wolfwere stats for a game I was running adlib so I just made it a werewolf with a couple levels of bard, vulnerability to cold iron instead of silver, and the ability to cast sleep. That's basically how I remember them from 2nd Edition. The party had lost three of its best fighters before they realized their silver weapons were useless against the "werewolves" they'd been hired to kill. |
