09-16-05, 02:12 PM Hi, I tried to post once before, but I'm not sure what happend to it. Does anyone have any good ideas to find some of the old 2nd Ed. books. I prefer it to the 3rd ed. Why did they change it anyway.

09-16-05, 03:22 PM RPGNow.com sells almost all of them in PDF format for $4.95 each. Also you might try dragonstrove.com if you want the hard copies. Used books stores are good to if you live in or near a college town.

better yet, Ill give it all to you if you can get me a copy of the DnD cyclopedia.... fair trade

6 phd, 2 dmgs 1 fiend folio, 1 hard bond Monsters manuel, tons of Spell jammer and Forgotten realms stuff.

all for the cyclopedia.

09-16-05, 04:30 PM I bought the second eddition Players Hand Book and Dungeon Master's Gudie from e-bay a few months before 3rd came out. Something like 25 dollars after shipping.

Not that I am offering to sell anything. I would never violate the CoC, if indeed that is part of the CoC. I did read it - well, I skimmed it, really just looking for the dirty parts, and figuring that eventually it'll be made into a movie. Probably with Michael Caine. He's in everything. Not that he's a bad actor - he's not - but he'll do ANYTHING - I mean, he was in a Steven Segal movie for crying out loud. But I do like Michael Caine, and so I actually look forward to his current project, entitled, Code Of Conduct. Steven Segal also stars.

09-17-05, 12:26 AM Amazon and ebay are the best two places. Many gaming stores also have "second hand" bins or boxes, where you can find some amazing bargains.

Pick up the AD&D1st edition books as well, while you are at it, and a Rules Cyclopedia (the classic D&D perfected)
