I have the epic level handbook... Is this 3.0 or 3.5? Is there a place where you can confirm 3.0 or 3.5? I was gonna buy the equipment book also but it also was 3.0...

It was published before June 2003. It is 3.0

Is there a way to convert the book to 3.5?

Is there a way to convert the book to 3.5?Other than having a good working knowledge of 3.0 and 3.5 and going through it by hand and doing everything yourself? Not really. You might luck out and find where somebody else has already done the work for you though.

Yes, download this (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/DnD35_Epic_Handbook.zip)

Arvagor's link will provide you with a little bit of help in doing what Edymnion said would be necessary. But in the end, the conversion is in your hands.

Look at the publishing date. If it is after June 2003, it is 3.5

Right. Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day; teach a man to fish, and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Does anyone know if there is a conversion for The Book of Vile Darkness to make it 3.5. I just don't like that Exalted Deeds is 3.5 and Vile Darkness is 3.0.

No, there isn't, except that it converts to 3.5 the same way all the other books do (using the generic conversion guide).

What is the generic conversion guide? I looked but I'm lazy and slightly less motivated if you already know what it is.
