Heroes of Battle
1) What's it really called?
2) What is it about?
3) What category would it belong in?

Thanks,
Necro

I do not recall the exact name, but it came out last month and it talked about massive combat. My DM was going to buy, so I will ask him how is it called, and i'll post it tomorrow

Hmm, wasn't MMII a 3.0 book? :)

I believe that the Draconomicon and Ghostwalk are 3.5. The Draconomicon focuses on dragons, while Ghostwalk focuses on the undead.

What version was Deities and Demigods?

Isn't there one in each of 3.0 and 3.5?

Ghostwalk has a 3.5 update for it, so judging by the 2003 release, it must be 3.25.

Races of Eberron is technically a generic book.

there is Heroes of Battle, as well.

Not on my list ;)

What category would that go under I've never seen that source?

I would add it to "Environments" since you could classify a battlefield as a type of environment, unless you want to rename it to "Encounters" or something like that. I would also add the Horror-CS when that comes out in October (I think).
In fact, what about renaming it to "Campaigns" or something along those lines, or just adding in a "Campaigns" category (you then could put Ghostwalk in there, also).

MMII is 3.0, and hasn't been rewritten to my knowledge.

You also missed the BOOK OF EXALTED DEEDS--I would put that under "Campaign Guides" in your listing. (N.B.--the BOOK OF VILE DEEDS is 3.0.)

Just an observation, but if this list is all 3.5 books, why would you prefix each item with 3.5? ;)

Heroes of Battle, and the upcoming Heroes of Horror, are part of the "Genre Series" of books.

Book of Exalted Deeds would go under the category of "Mature Series" of books.

Ghostwalk is a campaign supplement and was written for 3.0. There is a 3.5 conversion web enhancement on WotC's site.

Monster Manual II is 3.0, but can be updated to 3.5 using the conversion booklet.

Fiend Folio and Arms & Equipment Guide were technically 3.0, but they had some of the new elements of 3.5; gamers often refer to them as being 3.25. Fiend Folio also has a conversion booklet (see above). Notice the only difference being damage reduction.

Monster Manual III is 3.5

3.5 Monster Manual II
3.5 Ghostwalk

These are both 3rd edition, not 3.5.

Everything is 3rd edition. Within that some items are 3.0 and some are 3.5.

I am looking for items that were written for 3.5 none of this update stuff :)
