Ainaelin 10-30-04, 02:48 PM	Hello to all of you. I have a question. In 3.0, Damage Reduction was overcome by, notably, a creature with same kind of DR's natural weapons. In 3.5, I have found two things that might relate to that rule. First, the description of DR in the Monster Manual says that a creature with an Alignment Subtype overcomes DR of the same alignment with its natural weapons and weapons wielded. Second, the Monk's Perfect Self ability description states that the Monk gains a DR of 10/magic against any natural attack made by a creature that doesn't have similar DR. Is that a left over from 3.0, or is it stated somewhere in 3.5 that a creature with the same DR as its foe overcomes its DR?
Seeker95 10-30-04, 04:42 PM	I think it is a holdover. 3.5 made DR easier to overcome... the numbers are lower, so just do more damage than that!
Ainaelin 10-30-04, 06:42 PM	Thank you, Seeker95, it seems it is as I thought : another left-over :bored: However, that means a Werewolf will have a hard time damaging one of his fellow werewolves, which seems a bit odd to me... Oh well. Doesn't matter much, I suppose... ;)
