| OrbitalB03-30-06, 07:45 PM | Ok, for those who don't know, 3.5 Dragon Ante is an alternate set of rules for Three Dragon Ante (or an expansion if you will). The rules have undergone some more testing, and with some feedback from you guys, has finally reach it's version 1.0 status. You can grab it from the links below. It was also time someone put together some sort of FAQ, so i did that too. I also seperate the other 3DA articles I've written into their own downloads, so you can grab whatever you want and ignore the rest. Here's the stuff: 3.5 Dragon Ante v1.0 (http://members.shaw.ca/orbital.bliss/dd/3.5_dragon_ante.pdf) (Three Dragon Ante Alternative) 3DA Unofficial FAQ v1.0 (http://members.shaw.ca/orbital.bliss/dd/3da_unofficial_faq.pdf) 3DA Basic Solitaire Rules v1.0 (http://members.shaw.ca/orbital.bliss/dd/3da_basic_solitaire.pdf) 3DA Decks of Magical Power v1.0 (http://members.shaw.ca/orbital.bliss/dd/3da_decks_of_magical_power.pdf) (Deck of Many Things, DoI, and all new Deck of the Dragons) As always, all feedback is welcome. (specially errors) |
| Rian Lightblade03-30-06, 08:07 PM | Cool! I've actually used the game in an Adventure I ran recently and I was pretty fun. Although there were a few issues that came up that the printed rules didn't cover. I happy to see that there is a FAQ thanks |
| OrbitalB03-31-06, 12:46 AM | I hope that you use the 3.5 version in a game, and lemme know how it goes. :) What problems did you find in the rulebook, and does the faq cover it yet? |
| Rian Lightblade03-31-06, 03:24 PM | It was a little over a month ago so I can't remeber off the top of my head. But I'm sure the next time I use the game in a game I remember what they were. |
| OrbitalB04-05-06, 08:20 PM | I've had a request, and filled it. There is now an article for using 3DA cards for fortune telling. Here's the link: 3DA Fortune Telling v1.0 (http://members.shaw.ca/orbital.bliss/dd/3da_fortune_telling.pdf) |
| Edymnion04-05-06, 09:03 PM | Sorry, but they're all PDFs. I find PDF to be too slow and processor intensive to be worth opening for anything less than a major work (like my Mutants and Masterminds 2e PDF from Green Ronin). Try making an HTML version and putting that up, because I know I'm not the only one that doesn't like to open PDF unless they have to. |
| OrbitalB04-05-06, 11:57 PM | Yeah, they're PDF by choice, not by accident. But thanks for the opinion. |
