*stupid question klaxon sounds*

now that i've (grudgingly) 'updated' to 3.5 (and doing the samaritan thing and donating 3.0 to a local rpg club - MUCH  KUDOS!!!), am i correct in thinking that only the PHB, DMG & MM are gonna get the 3.5 'treatment' and that the other rule books will have to make do with SRD'S?

For the most part, that seems to be the case.

One exception would be the Expanded Psionics Handbook that I assume will be a more or less complete rewrite.

Also, some Forgotten Realms stuff is going to get a rule update (where needed) in Player's Guide to Faerūn next year, but the old books themselves won't be revised.

[That is, as far as I know.]

That is true. So far, only the PHB, DMG, and MM are revised. The new Psionics Handbook is going to be 3.5 compliant (or at least should be; I don't use the old Psionics Handbook so I am not following the release of the new one).

Of course, all new books, to include the much-anticipated Unearthed Arcana in February '04, will be under the 3.5 rules.
