I apologize in advance if this is not the place to post this, but I had a question about the 3.5E Gift Set that is being offered at a major online book retailer (don't want to say the name, not sure if that is against policy). It states that it contains all three books, but is it really the three hardbound books, or three condensed versions meant to be placed in a gift set? Before I order it, I want to make sure it's the actual hard bound rule books in their entirety. Has anyone ordered or recieved this gift set, and if so, is it the complete hardbound editions of the core rule books?

It is the 3 core books; exactly the same ones you would get if you bought them separately.

Yeah, it's exactly what I have, comes in a relatively nice hard cover.

And you'll see, the box it comes in is very very nice as well, and does help a lot at keeping your books straight on a bookshelf :ayyyy!:

FYI, the 3 books are just First Printing. So you may need to download and keep an errata nearby.

BTW, I spotted a few 3.5e PHB regular edition (not the Special Edition, with the plush leatherbound and red cloth marker) that are corrected with errata incorporated.
