| Viriato11-29-04, 08:27 AM | Can anyone point me out where I can get that awesome Todd Lockwood barroom brawl for D&D 30th anniversary? Thanks in advance. |
| Joni-san11-29-04, 11:12 AM | Here you go. (http://pcmedia.gamespy.com/pc/image/30thbarfight_1092972100.jpg) :) I've made a few posts praising this little gem. See also some of my other threads for the D20 of Doom (The D20 that has touched more game developer and novelist and movie star hands than any other) and other classics :D |
| Draco Strang11-29-04, 11:57 AM | That is by far and away one of the coolest pieces of artwork I have ever seen. Did you notice the commoner in the upper center of the piece? He looks scared. |
| skathros11-29-04, 12:32 PM | the demonic idol with the thief pilfering one of it's eyes is nice, too bad it cluttered with all the 3Eesque inspired stuff. |
| Palin the Wizard11-29-04, 12:33 PM | It looks more like a rogue trying to steal the ruby in the statue's eye, to me. |
| skathros11-29-04, 12:37 PM | It looks more like a thief trying to steal the ruby in the statue's eye, to me. there, fixed it for you :) |
| Bluebrush11-29-04, 12:41 PM | I like the guy in the bottom left corner. He's got a very "Do you mind?" look to him. Though we never did get to see that drum-fed Repeating crossbow the gnome has. Shame. |
| CzarGarrett11-29-04, 12:47 PM | the demonic idol with the thief pilfering one of it's eyes is nice, too bad it cluttered with all the 3Eesque inspired stuff. I think that's a reproduction of a picture off a 1e DM screen. Or at least something from waaay back in the day. |
| Draco Strang11-29-04, 12:49 PM | I'm gonna go with commoner....adds some fun to the scene. (yes, now that I look at it again, it is very likely that guy is a rogue...damn all of you.) P.S.-That beholder in the upper left corner looks like he's getting his crunk on, if you know what I mean. (Little John is the best...YEA) |

| CzarGarrett11-29-04, 02:13 PM | Well, its obviously the 1e PHB. However, I don't have the 1e PHB, so I'm trying to think where else it is on what I have. Damn my mind! |

| Sulaco11-29-04, 03:46 PM | Though we never did get to see that drum-fed Repeating crossbow the gnome has. Shame. Looks to me more like something from Alternity than a gnome. |
| Felonious Monk11-29-04, 04:04 PM | There's a gnome bard in the upper right corner leaning on a Red Dragon. Song of Discord, anyone? |
| Viriato11-29-04, 05:08 PM | Here you go. Many thanks, friend. |
| Yoho1.511-30-04, 11:54 AM | The gnome with the drum fed x-bow is a Gnome infiltrator from the thalos faction from the now defunct Chainmail minis game, not something from alternity. With the new D&D minis game using resculpts from the old chainmail line, this gnome might be coming back, he might be ressurected already for all I know, I don't do D&D minis. |
