32 Point Buy? [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-10-04, 07:40 PM		What is 32 point buy? I've heard it being used around here, but it says nothing about it in the Player's Handbook. Is it a different way to do stats other than dice rolling or something?

Isn't the guide contradicting itself, saying you can buy points 14 or lower for 1, but it shows on the chart it costs more than 1 for points under 14(except 9)?

01-10-04, 08:07 PM		No, it means that to increase a score by one (when it's under 14) costs 1 point.

01-10-04, 08:12 PM		Oh, okay I understand now. I was wondering for a while why going from 17 to 18 would cost 16 points, lol.
