Need tips/opinions/help on building a good wizard based character using the 32 point system.. anywhere like fighter/wizard/eldritch knight.. or fighter/wizard/spellsword.. or just fighter/wizard.. good feats to get? best overall race to be.. any suggestions/advice greatly appreciated!

Note: our dm allows us to take 5points(max)from 1 single ability e.i (Char 8.. take up to 5 points from that to add to the 32pts to make it 37.. but take the cha 3(-4mod).. etc..)

Scoot your butt on over to the Character Optimization (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=339) Board and be both amazed and dumbfounded while simultaneously feasting upon the uber-goodiness it contains.

Don't do this. Your DM probably doesn't actually intend to scam you, but at those rates you'll lose a lot more than you stand to gain. Take the 32 points and be done with it.

Something like this? Or put INT at 17 and put the extra points into whatever stat you feel he or she should be strong in. Like, if he wants to be wise, fast etc...not too hard.

STR 8
DEX 14
CON 14
INT 18
WIS 12
CHA 10
