Sarella Starshine 12-26-07, 09:24 PM	Somewhere in the 4e forums there are several pictures of the new 4e art. Some like it, others don't. However, it is completely different than 3e art. If I was less of a lazy cuss, I would go and scrounge around and find some and post links. I have seen some of it though, and I both like and dislike the direction that the art is going. I like the detail already shown, I dislike the trend that traditional fantasy art is a 'a bad thing'.

A problem I'm having with three of the images from Dragon #360 (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/drfe/20071214&authentic=true) is determining why the following artwork is credited to Brian Hagan and Steve Argyle, when they seem more like Hagan's style. Image 1 (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/360_Gallery/dragon360_28.jpg) Image 2 (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/360_Gallery/dragon360_29.jpg) Image 3 (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/360_Gallery/dragon360_30.jpg) Those look much better in the magazine (it's a free download). Anyone know if they collaborated, or did Wizards mis-identified each piece as originating from both artists (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4art/20071116a)? Totally different - and cool - would be Ralph Steadman or Storm Thurgerson... A few Ralph Steadman illustrations might be neat, along with sprinkles of Dave McKean's art (like the original Sandman covers).

A lil' collaboration between him and Steadman was always entertaining. That makes me wonder . . . would "Gonzo" be a feat or some type of PrC ability? :P

Does WotC need to provide medical benefit and other perks? (Hopeful answer: no.) Can he work in a dungeon-like workplace with time-control locks and 2-minute lunch break? (Hopeful answer: yes.) Will he relinquish copyright on his artwork for Dungeons & Dragons? (Hopeful answer: yes.) :devil:

Race it is :) In a dragon oriented campaign I was running my PCs actually said "We can't stop here! This is Dragon country!" Mad brownie points there.
