undraxis 08-22-07, 08:43 AM	This might sound like a dumb question, but I'm overwhelmed by the 4th edition info thats being pumped out. The biggest concern I have would be can 4th edition be played without access to the online aspects? I know the additional online content and tools are extras, but in particular, will the tools like the character generator and virtual tabletops be required to efficiently play the game or will I be able to play the game as before, in a room with friends with just dice and the books and a light to read by ? :)
Naderion 08-22-07, 08:51 AM	You will be able to do as much with the three core books of 4th Ed. as you are with the three core books of 2nd or 3rd Ed. But it could be possible, that things like Complete Warrior are not published as printed books, but rather as a huge online-database for prestige-classes for subscription. Not that anything like that was ever announced (at least as I know), but this could be one of the things you had in 3rd Ed. and they maybe won't do anymore.
