Changes according to the press release:

1. d20 system will be replaced entirely by clicking a mouse in the direction you want to hit.

2. In conjunction with (1), DMs will no longer exist, and will be replaced by DEE-MS (Digital Entertainment Execution Master System), a console each group can purchse that will monitor all player movements to ensure fair gameplay.

3. Trail rations, the Awareness feat, the spell Fireball, Full plate, and backpacks were being abused and have been removed.

4. Fighter was overpowered, and has been removed.

5. Dragons will no longer be color-coded, but will randomly breathe fire, lightning, acid, cold, sound, force, negative/positive energy, the Iceberg spell, battleaxes, Gnomish caravan carts, the entire city of Waterdeep, good elven liches, or that guy that rolls all the ones at your table.

6. In a dramatic shift, Wizards will now allow ODD numbers to be exclusively used for racial ability enhancements.

5E? I'm already geared up for 5.3 D&D

http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=886197

Well, I have:

my D30,

my +17 Monomolecular Bastard Sword of Brilliant Energy Shocking Burst and Thermonuclear Fiery Burst,

my +9 transdimensional plate mail of psionic metamagical invincibility,

AND my ring of infinite hit points!

Who else is going to be ready when WotC skips 4th edition, 4.5, and 5.0 entirely for a revised version of Toran_A_Sunder's 4.0 THACWTF combat system?

Bowser from super mario one?:P

Technically he was throwing battle axes, but with only 8-bits it could look like breathing them.;)

In Indian mythology there was a demon who breathed a cone of arrows and javelins at his enemies. There is indeed mythological precedent for a "battleaxe dragon."

5E is top secret tech. No spoilers please. :)

On a serious note, we have a fourth edition (http://forums.gleemax.com/forumdisplay.php?f=686) if you'd like to comment on the next release of D&D. That said, I'll just close this up now.
