I thought this would be an interesting thread that could spark some fun debate.

How do you roleplay/DM love and relationships?

PLay it out like you would any other emotion. Dont be stupid about, and gauge the other players, to see if its something they want to have as a part of their roleplay, or prefer to gloss it over some.

Oh, and be wary of people who cant distinguish between IC and RL emotions. Boot ASAP

Before you introduce it, MAKE SURE that your group will be cool with it. The reason I say this is every group is different. I do not use 'love' emotions with my group, as I know that their reaction would be, "Oh lord, let's get on with the game already" (only one of them is rude enough to say that out loud). Judging by that, and by the fact that many people chose to play DnD rather than VTM or something else because DnD is generally much more intellectual than it is emotional. As such, if you want to introduce a serious relationship, I would first be sure to enter it into the plot of the adventure, so the 'love' element actually has some plot related merit to it.

Well, the earlier advice is well and sound. Make sure your players are cool with it and then roleplay away.
