| rogue_lettuce05-10-06, 02:03 PM | I have been away for like, a year or two. I've lost track. And I've come back out of boredom and curiosity. Edyminion's still here. And people are still posting threads about katanas. And still saying WotC's main concern is profits, as if it wasn't obvious. They're still posting '1001...' threads. They're still asking whether flurry of blows and sneak attack can be used together. They're still arguing over whether min/max or rp is the best style of play. The only thing that's changed is that there are now MORE things to claim are broken. See you in a year or two. ;) |
| darth_borehd05-10-06, 02:14 PM | Feel free to start threads about topics you would like to see. |
| hmmmm05-10-06, 02:34 PM | Yup, like you could start a thread about cheese weapons or something. :P Any way see you in a year or two. |
| Board_Rider05-10-06, 03:36 PM | Well, as the old saying goes..... The more things change the more they stay the same. See ya in two. Just in time for the 4E Chronicles. |
| Tzor05-10-06, 03:39 PM | :w00t: Yep, see you in another year or two. You know, if you had stayed a little longer, you would have noticed the new and improved smiles. Other than that, people are people, and topics are topics. |
| Silverthumb12805-10-06, 03:43 PM | Welcome to the future. |
| Sphyre05-10-06, 03:53 PM | LOL, welcome back rogue_lettuce. I remember seeing enough posts/replies from you that I remember who you are. I just recently came back too, after about 6+ months of being gone. There's a gem every now and then. Mostly I find it just a filler, although I've found a few threads useful lately. I'm going to be DMing a solo campaign and I found the thread by KJW invaluable for that. So there's still some stuff worth it ;) See you in a year or two. ;) Next time you come back, will you stay for more than a post? ;) |
| celtredleg05-10-06, 04:13 PM | And what should we be talking about?? Many threads dont interst me, but enough do to keep me here. |
| BeyondFated05-10-06, 10:14 PM | Sad thing is, this thread wont be here when the upgrades are done (if they ever are gonna be done...). |
| Waterhammer05-10-06, 10:40 PM | Sad thing is, this thread wont be here when the upgrades are done (if they ever are gonna be done...). The updates are scheduled for the 15th. That's five days from now. You can start you're complainin after that. |
| hmmmm05-11-06, 03:04 AM | Now its four days. :) |
| Jayr05-11-06, 02:30 PM | Now it's 19. :) |
| BeyondFated05-11-06, 02:38 PM | The updates are scheduled for the 15th. That's five days from now. You can start you're complainin after that. I wasn't complaining, just stating a fact... that has now changed... Bloody techies, messing with our minds... ;) |
| hmmmm05-11-06, 03:46 PM | Now it's 19. :) Yup but now this thread is going to be here. |
| Tristan05-11-06, 04:18 PM | nice to know you are lazy enough to give up and not do anything about it. That will fix the problem. Congratulations on your ability to show up out of nowhere say "you suck" and leave. P.S. Is that "See you in a year or two" comment a promise or a threat? |
| RadicalTaoist05-11-06, 07:02 PM | Plus que change, plus que le meme chose. Or something like that. |
| Waterhammer05-12-06, 12:42 AM | I recant my previous post. BeyondFated, you were right, and I am wrong. |
| Aeolius05-12-06, 08:34 AM | ...you could start a thread about cheese weapons or something. They already covered those in the Muenster Manual :D |
| rogue_lettuce05-12-06, 12:33 PM | I was joking in the last line, which I stupidly expected people to understand. :P I'm gonna stick around. Nice to see I made an impression on at least some of you, hehe. I'll try and think of more original topics to talk about, but it might take a while, cos I haven't played DnD for about 3 years now, and haven't read the books for over 2, I think. So I don't remember much of the rules. They're coming back quickly though! Cheese weapons, eh? How long till they release a module called "Cathedral City Adventures"? (Too subtle?) |
| MarkB05-12-06, 01:23 PM | Cheese weapons, eh? How long till they release a module called "Cathedral City Adventures"? (Too subtle?) Nah, nothing subtle about cheddar. Personally, I'm waiting for the update of Temple of El-emmental Evil. |

Is "Cathedral City" a reference to something? |
| freelancer_bob05-16-06, 10:27 AM | I'd imagine it could have been inferred from context, but Cathedral city is a brand of cheese, cheddar I suspect, of a moderately strong nature. I recall there being some fairly dull adverts on UK TV a few years back. Presumably it's not as common in Merkin land? |
| Traevanon05-16-06, 10:41 AM | Us Merkins dont know 'bout no 'thedral City cheese. |
| Treebore05-16-06, 08:33 PM | Yeah, most americans think if it says Kraft Cheese it is real cheese. I'm just glad I can find real stuff from Europe. |
| Treebore05-16-06, 08:35 PM | Better yet I have bought some of my own Alpine Goats to try my hand at making my own cheeses! They should be old enough in about 5 months. |
| Aeolius05-16-06, 08:44 PM | "Oooh!! The cat's eaten it!" |
| WizO_Cat05-16-06, 09:02 PM | Hmmm ... to me it smells like spam. ;) |
