| Alan Smithee02-21-06, 01:52 PM | We have in our adventuring party, a male, half-drow bard named Minky Boodle. His defining characteristic is his penchant for wearing women's underpants. We just cannot break him from it. Is this because he is a 1/2 elf or because he is a bard? What's even stranger is that this guy seems to be on a perpetual panty raid. After every combat, when the rest of the party is counting coins & gems; the sorcerer is identifying magic items; and the cleric is healing; this guy is looking for panties! Has anyone else had this problem in their campaign? |

| Seeker9502-21-06, 03:06 PM | Alan, you have been here far longer than those who I would have expected this kind of a spam post from. Did someone else get hold of your account? |
| Shotgun_badger02-21-06, 06:29 PM | Wow, and I complained that our party Wizard was too obessed with books... |
| devinmdp02-21-06, 08:53 PM | For the unlearned of the ways of Hollywood, Alan Smithee is the pseudonym a writer or director uses on the credits of a film with which he doesn't want his real name associated. Devin |
| JLP02-21-06, 09:17 PM | Alan Smithee's just for directors. Writers do something else when they want to pull their names (though I can't recall off-hand what that is). Anyhow, yeah, you gotta love the Triple B: Bad Bard Behavior. Yours sounds like something right out of Rocky Horror. Most bard PCs I've ever come across tend to be fairly outrageous. An African-American friend of mine made a drow bard, got a mini and made a little banjo for him, then sang minstrel songs. Something about the class brings it out. The NPCs, otoh, tend to be button-down, but I suspect that has more to do with the GMs energy than anything else. I've got a quasi-halfling bard who's fairly Clinton-esque. Statesman by day, pimp by night... |
