I decided to make a custom campaign, which is basically set in a Forgotten Realms universe, but with changes that I deemed apropriate.
For one, Baator is no longer ruled by Asmodeus, but by Mephistopheles. The Number 8 rulership slot went to a Pit Fiend General who served big M before he governed Asmodeus' demise. Mephistopheles is also a Lesser Diety, (divine rank 6).
The Abbyss has been discovered to have only 666 layers, each layer is infinite in the sense that it goes on forever; you could walk for days in one direction, but upon turning back find yourself only several miles away from where you started.
Hades, however, is completely different. Yugoloth's lost any semblance of control they ever had on this plane, and it is now ruled by the Undead.
The ruler of Hades is a Demi God Vampire named Taima, (Fighter 10, Rouge 5, Assasin 5, Vampire Lord 3). The Yugoloth are treated as scum, there is a holocaust going on to eliminate them from existance completely.

Also, the 7MHoC is ruled by a Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon (Divine rank 1)

On the Material Plane is basically the same, with only a few major differences: The Mind Flayers are near extinct, and being forced to imbreed they are no longer as powerful as they were (-4 to all their racial bonuses, giving them only like a LA+2). They were hunted down by crusading Paladins of Heironious, who has taken a more agressive (than usual, anyway) step towards eradicating evil. The first step, of course, would be to eliminate leaders and sociopathic creatures. The Illithids fall into both categories.
Waterdeep is destroyed, one big, smoking ruin. The town's most powerful wizard used an ancient artifact brought back to him by a team of hired mercenaries (This ties in to one of my old campaigns, i have 5 people now, and 2 of them were on the team aforementioned ^^) in an experiment that made him go senile, and... well you get the picture.
Half Orcs are generally more accepted, and they don't get a -2 to intelligence, only wisdom. Barbarians are also not considered "Illiterate".
Deities are probably one of the most major changes that I made. I decided to use about 7/10ths of the D&D standard gods listed in the Dieties and Demigod's book, but I also included the Pharaonic Pantheon as well.
I created a God of Death to replace Nerull. The God of Death is simply known as "The Reaper", and it is said that when certian individuals of great power and reknown die, he comes to collect their souls in person.

So far I'm just trying to squash the kinks in it, but it seems like it will be a very nice campaign when it's finished. Any thoughts or suggestions would be apreciated ^^

I think what you're doing is great. It shows initiative and demonstrates that the world is in flux if the head of the devils gets ousted. Why not?

I've never really liked the idea of Yugoloths myself--I've always been happy with just demons and devils. I always wanted someone like the Greek Hades to be in charge of Hades, but, tossing the keys to undead works.

The rest of the stuff is fine. It's cool, sometimes, to play in campaigns where things are different. It keeps the players on their toes, and, hopefully, willing to look around every corner to see what's different from what they're used to.
