I am computer illiterate.

That out of the way, how do subscribe to a thread?
Ive been through the FAQs and the UCP itself, and cant figure it out. I am basically an idiot, but I didn't think I was this bad.

If you can help me, that would be great. Thanks, and happy New Year.

Look in the brown bar at the top of your post - or the first post in any topic. See the words "Thread Tools"? Click there, then choose "Subscribe to this thread".

Easy!

:D

Honestly, my brain likes to see such things at the BOTTOM of the page rather than at the top. I decide to subscribe only after reading the discussion, not before.

You can also subscribe to a thread while posting to it.

Under the window where you type your post is two buttons you're familiar with - "Submit Reply" and "preview post." Under that is a section labelled "Additional Options." In that area is a drop down list for thread subscriptions.

Either way, thanks a bunch!

Wow.
I never noticed that either.

I only have access to a computer while I am at work, therefore I reply as quickly as possible, and go back to doing whatever it was I was doing before.

Thank you for the info.
