I am currently building a Pseudodragon Monk character. Going through the process of writing down all the elements of the character it hit me!

Can I flurry the sting?

Does the damage dice for my attacks go up as per a monks on the natural attacks?

I'm just confused as to how to read this with the phb

Regarding the sting:
No. You cannot use the pseudodragon sting as part of a flurry of blows. Flurry of blows only allows unarmed strikes or monk weapons. A natural weapon is neither an unarmed strike nor a monk weapon.

Regarding the natural attack damage dice:
No. The monk unarmed strike damage progression applies only to unarmed strikes. Although the monk's unarmed strike is treated as a natural weapon, a natural weapon is never treated as an unarmed strike.

The pseudodragon is tiny.
It gets a +2 to Armor Class due to size.
It gets a +2 to hit due to size.

By 10th level, he gets +9/+9/+4 on the BAB, plus and the base damage is up to 1d6. Then throw in the weapon enhancements the smart monk will place upon his body for extra damage, and your pseudodragon is packing one heckuva wallop for such a tiny package!

And having a blast doing so!

Heheh, yeah. And getting the bite/sting as natural secondary attacks. Until something swats him anyways ;)

if "swat" = grapple I get to make an attack... Close Quarter fighting.

and by level 10 (of monk) thats hardly a huge bonus considering the character IS ECL 10, and has 4 levels of monk... 2 being Tattooed

also, Weapon Finesse from a level in Swashbuckler... oh yeah baby....
