Hi I´m new to D&D and I just bought the 3.5 Core Rule Books.
Now that I read a little bit within these books, I took a look at the D&D Product link on this page. Now my question is: From which date onwards are the "expansions" (Accessory etc.) compatible to the 3.5 Rules?
I ask this because I heard that same expansions, which were released even before the Core-Rule-Books are compatible with them while others are not or at least need erratas.

Look at the spine of one of your core books.... see the number that is something like 177550000 near the bottom? If a core book (not campaign specific like Eberron or Forgotten Realms) starts with 177 or 178 then it was published under the 3.5 rules. If it starts with 88xxxxxxx, or WTCxxxx then it's 3.0 and you need to check the downloads section of the D&D main site for a 3.5 update.

Edit: actually, just go with the 17xxxxxx or 88xxxxxxx to distinguish, and the Forgotten realms books do comply with that up until serpent kingdoms, which starts with 965xxxxxx

Or, by date... July 2003.

The OP was asking about noncore stuff. Anyway, checking the date will work for all of it. I have also seen "This book uses the rules from 3.5" or something like that on the copyright page for the stuff published since the revision was released.

Anything after July 2003 is for 3.5; apart from that...

The Unapproachable East FR supplement was made 3.5 compliant despite being published slightly before the revised corebooks.

Here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20030718a) you can download the 3.5 update booklets for the 3.0 Monster Manual II, Fiend Folio, Deities and Demigods, Epic Level Handbook and Manual of the Planes.

Here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20031225a) is the 3.5 update for the Ghostwalk campaign setting.

Ooops, I forgot: you can find an article on the Dragon issue #318 that updates much of Oriental Adventures.
