I don't understand something in these lines:

Design a 2,500- to 4,000-word D&D adventure, then design a specific game element (feat, spell, or magic item) to accompany it.

the first part is clear enought to me, but I don't understand what does it means that I must design a specific game element for the adventure. Do they want me to make an adventure centered on a feat or a spell or an object? Or do they want that the adventure requires the use of a magic item, spell or feat to end it happily? Or maybe a monster or place must have or hold a given feat, spell or item?
