It seems's thrs a huge problem with the search function as of lately with these boards. I wanted to use it to find some of my olders topic, but same thing happens when I try to click on the ''Find all threads started by StrahdVonZarovich'' button. It says it sends a message to the board admin each time I do this though...

So I was wondering, when will you people actualy fix it ??

It's been down for a while. Yes, they're working on it. Be patient.

Do a google search including the phrase:

site:boards1.wizards.com

So for example, if you wanted to search the Wizard's boards for every time someone mentioned the phrase 'search function' you would type:

site:boards1.wizards.com "search function"

It would be helpful to get a stickied "Temporary Search Function" thread.

Look, I've made a helpful link http://tinyurl.com/74g9c

Thanks for this tip, Nytmare!

This is truly one of those tips that make you want to slap your forehead and ask why you hadn't figured it out yourself! :banghead:

For some reason Google searching the boards doesn't work as well as it used to -- it doesn't turn up threads that I was able to find with it a few weeks ago, but it's still better than nothing.

You can also go to your user control panel and check your subscribed threads.

That only works if you have the option turned on to automatically subscribe to threads you start/respond to.

That's a toggle-able function? I didn't know that. Still, it is at least worth checking.

Yes, definitely worth checking.

Here's how you get to the setting:

Settings & Options
Edit Options
Messaging & Notification
Default Thread Subscription Mode
