Well, as the topic suggests, im a very confused noob  . I am currently going through the PHB V 3.5 and was wondering, were do you record your weapons on the character sheet? Is it OK if you dont use a map thingy and any miniatures on a campaign? Can anyone give me a link to a completed character sheet? I have many more questions to come, but i will see how many questions the picture answers first.

Well, thanks to anyone that is going to help.

Heya man. Well I don't have my PHB on me but the weapons section is generally right below the stats. If its not clear try clicking that tab that says character sheets on the lefthand side of the screen here, download one of those, or try Ema's Sheets (http://www.emass-web.com/) widely considered some of the best sheets on the net.

Yes its fine not to use grid maps and minis. I've been part of plenty of groups that don't however you have to trust your DM to make fair calls about combat positions.

What i ment is, can anyone give me a link to a filled out character sheet, one with everything recorded already as a referance.

ALSO* Is there any site were a person can play D&D the way you do at a table, but online.

I'll see about posting a completed character sheet for you to look at, but I do believe the Player's handbook has a character sheet out near the back (you probably already know that)

I generally put my weapons in the weapon statistic blocks on the first character sheet, then I also label them in my equipment list on the second part of the character sheet.

Also, there is a site where you can play online rpgs... it's www.openrpg.com

You have to download a few programs from the site but it's all free and it's alot of fun though you'll find once you start playing on tabletop games, online games seem to run much slower (cuz everyone now has to be more detailed and descriptive through typing)

hope some of this helps.
