Hi, everybody.. My name is Warren, or Warrius.. its entirely your choice.

I'm getting ready to do the final project for the year in my computer applications class. Me and my partner chose to make a web-comic, comic and short like 5 minute movie. I asked him what he wanted to use for the movie and he said "D&D of course.. we will make our own campaign, and the characters and everything!!" I jumped at that because I played D&D since I was 9 like at least.

The only problem I have is he stinks at names, and making characters to put in it and I already have alot of work to do for it. So I need help making supporting characters and naming things...

The campain/story is set in a world that has one central city were influnces from the Orient, Northern west european, Arabian, and feudal european areas all hit.

The story itself is "A evil dictator controls this city, he rules the most powerful of the houses, and the only house that ever had a chance of standing against it is all but dead. There is only one left. That is the person whom brings the adventuers together, to gather the legendary artifacts of the dead hero that built the city, to bering forth the hero of prophesy, that would restore order, and bring the rightful ruler into his throne. The adventuers find out on the way that they are the "hero" and that the prophesy was misunderstood. Though most disbelieve it. "

I named the main city, and the evil noble house.. but thats all..

I could use any help you guys could lend me, truthfully.. though names are a big problem.. :D

It's a pretty sound idea... knowing myself, and my friends, we probably would have went with something slightly more original. (Probably would have ended up as a comedy though)

Heres some names from various sources on the internet. They all came from random generators, so they are all original.

Pirate ships - horrible horror

Normal ship - The Monkey's Devistation
The Love Monkey

Bar names -

The dead lemur
the loving penguin inn
the mad cat hall
the swaggering serpent
the blue sword bar
the wise hawk
the ape's claw
the rich monkey's tavern
the vulgar bird
the rare bottle
the puking friar

Town names -

Glaciergard
Dovecross
Wereton
Wolfport
Whitekeep
Icefort
Hammerport
Ashenton
Ingard

Forests -

Narrowglade
willowwood
whitemead
eldmere
shadowwood

Small towns -

Enjoy.

Well, watch out for that stupid "no homework posts" rule, because this might be construed as such by the overzealous, but I think Flakster gave you all the help you need.

So I need help making supporting characters (and naming things...)

I can tell you the info about the character Im playing now. Make him a supporting Character, the star, or scrap him and go yer own road... I dont care.
Take an part you wish... just be sure to let us know how it goes in the end!

Anyways.... Here is the info:
Name: Charstin Graywater
Race: Avariel
Class: Warlock
Align: Chaotic Good

His story goes like this:

An only child of winged elves, Charstin Graywater traveled the countryside with his mother and father, like gypsies, along with others that had been outcast from his homeland of Avariel. Nomads for generations, for reasons now long forgotten, they traveled the countryside seeking a place to call home. Durring one night, the camp was attacked by rouges, his mother and father killed, and he was bound and later sold into slavery to a brothel that specialized in perverse acts with young males. (Slow to age, elves are prime targets for such establishments.) After several years of forced prostitution, he was visited by an angel-like creature, an Astral Diva, named Terel. Terel explained that when the events of his abduction took place, he was nearby and resisted helping due to a sense of evil from within the camp. Never able to rest with that decission, he had decided to now help free the young winged elf. He believed that, although he could not change the past, he could do much good to awaken power within Charstin. He thought that Charstin's horrid experiences would make him more compassionate than most. Terel, however, did not take into account that the evil he felt before eminated from an ancient pact within Charstin's bloodline. A pact made with dark forces - the reason he and his family lived in excile.
Charstin's first act of his new power was to slaughter all his captors in the brothel in most vicious fashions. Terel realized he may have made an even greater mistake, but swore to his god (Kertaba) that he would watch after Charstin and try to guide him. Despite Terel's constant (and often annoying) appearances, Charstin has yet to follow the path desired for him. Feeling that the world owes him, Charstin now sells his magic talents to adventure parties that are willing to pay him gold and a cut of treasures aquired. Terel still tries to control the young and ambitious elf, but fails more often than not.

We already are to the beggining script:

Narrator (Reading): ‘Throughout the ages, many prophecies have come to pass. So it has been and so it shall be.’
-begin prologue-
Narrator: “There was once a great hero. Upon his shoulders the foundations of the great city of Risenhold. The city that would in its future bring all of the peoples and cultures of the world towards a center. From him came the foundations of the greatest houses of Risenhold, the dreaded house of Nekorai (pronounced Neh-kor-ai) and the Rowkenian
house, the rightful ruling house. For centuries the Rowkenian house ruled and the land prospered. Then four decades ago the Nekorai were banished and and this prophesy was made. That the dark house would rise and that it would have a terrible reign. The Rowkenians ignore the prophesy and their downfall came. 1 decade ago, the new rulers, the Nekorai ignored received a prophesy. The prophesy was this “Your house will finally be destroyed by the hand of its most legendary ancestor the great hero ‘Rowken’…

-begin scene 1-
(Pan through city at an amazing pace, all is blurry)
(Stop at the local tavern; Zoom in on large group conversing; as move closer, conversation audible)
Raiken Rowkenian: … I have gathered you here because under the leadership of the Nekorai, my family’s kingdom has suffered and I can bear it no longer. Long ago it has been prophesized that one day Rowken, my ancestor, should one day return and smite the tyrannous Nekorai family. I have sent for you for one solemn reason.
Ronan: And what reason is that exactly?
Raiken: I want you to gather the legendary relics once held by Rowken and bring them here.
Orin: Why us though, why not send some other guys?
Raiken: Take a look at your names sir: Ronan the cleric, Orin the rogue, Waran the ronin, Kherik the fighter, Erik the sorcerer and Neacal the paladin.
Kherik and Waran: So you sent for us because our names spell out ROWKEN.
Raiken: Yes pretty much, that and your individual reputations.
Erik: Sounds like a pretty stupid idea to me, how do you know we won’t betray you?
Raiken: I will be watching and if you get out of line the ronin and fighter will take care of the problem.

(Fade through black to a dark chamber, a throne room: a large humanoid towers among other figures: they are talking)
Ekrull Nekorai: What have you to report to me?
Orias: My liege, it appears the renegade has resurfaced. I saw him speaking with a large group of adventurers in the tavern. He mentioned something about the relics of Rowken and I have reason to believe he may be sending these adventures in search of these legendary items.
Ekrull: Ovolin, is this true.
Ovolin Moonbreaker: Yes sir, I saw this renegade myself.
Ekrull: Very well, Ovolin, Orias, gather my best men and follow these fools. When they gather these relics, I want you to steal the items and kill the fools. And one last thing, if either you two or any of your associates should be foolish enough to attempt to betray me, I shall see to it that you are tortured for all of eternity.
Ovolin and Orias: Yes sir.

Waran: In my experience of this type of thing. We will have to spilt up into groups of three, and search for these artifacts. One group will be lead by me, and the other group will be lead by Kherik. Understand?
Erik: says obnoxiously “you don’t look old enough to lead a mule.”
Waran: mutters to himself “I might not look like I am, but I am. “
Kherik: I’ll have no more outbursts from of idiocy from you, sorcerer. Now who shall go with the ronin and whom shall go with me?
Erik: I think I shall go with…
Kherik: I said no more outbursts, fool!
(Kherik smacks Erik with the blunt end of his sword.)
Kherik: looks like the moron goes with me… Anyone else?
Raiken:
Raiken: obviously, the sorcerer is accounted for. Waran will take Ronan, and Orin. Kherik will take Erik and Neacal. Your talents will complement each other.
Waran: I suppose…
(heroes separate into groups, Erik complains about his head hurting and Raiken orders two rooms for the parties.)
-end scene 3-
-open scene 4-
Narrator: And so the heroes began to sleep for the night, peacefully for the moment.
(Orin sleeps sprawled in one bed, and Ronan sleeps in the other. Waran sleeps in a chair, around them.)
(A window is opened and a figure slips in, a figure that is wearing all black and barely noticeable in the dim light.)
(The figure draws a long, thin blade and stalks towards Orin.)
(The assassin unaware that Waran sleep incredibly lightly does not notice Waran’s eyes opening and his katana being drawn as the figure stalks towards Orin)
(Waran walks towards the assassin silently and slashes the assassin as the assassin nears Orin’s bed.)
Waran: For an assassin you certainly don’t have very good senses.
(The assassin turns, sees Waran and then runs to the window, jumping out of it)

(Heroes separate into groups; Erik complains about his head hurting; Raiken arranges two rooms for the parties)
Narrator: And so the heroes prepared for their great venture unaware of what should then happen later that night.
(Erik lay on the bed mumbling in his sleep; Neacal lay on the other side sleeping restlessly; Kherik is nowhere to be seen)
(Centered on window; Soon a figure lands on the window sill and tosses two bodies inside; The figure then jumps inside and quickly puts on a cloak; After a few seconds, Kherik stands where the figure was)
(Pan to Erik and Neacal sleeping)
Kherik: Wake up!
(Neacal sits bolt upright eyes wide; Erik continues sleeping)
Neacal (staring at the bodies): What happened?
Kherik: These two appear to be spies. (Kicks one of the bodies; The one that was kicked grunts) I saw them watching us after we met the other day and again on my way back here.
(Neacal looks up at Kherik)
Neacal: What is that? (Points to Kherik’s lip) Is that blood?
(Pan to Kherik’s face; a little blood trickles from Kherik’s lower lip)
Kherik (touches lip and stares at fingers) Yes it is.
Neacal (Concerned look on face): Why did you not wake us sooner?
Kherik: I saw no real reason to wake you.
Neacal: But you are bleeding.
Kherik (mumbling to self): It is not my blood.
Neacal: What was that?
Kherik: Don’t worry about it.
(Erik wakes up and jumps when he sees the two bodies on the floor)
--The Next Morning—
(Fade through black to the tavern; Kherik, Waran, and Raiken discuss the happenings of the previous night while the others gather around the bar)
(Zoom in on Kherik, Waran, and Raiken; Discussion becomes audible)
Kherik: What do you make of this. (Kherik takes out a clasp from his cloak and hands it to Raiken)
Raiken (Examining clasp): This bears the Nekorai family seal… Where did you get it?
Kherik: The spies I caught last night wore these.
(Raiken stares at Kherik for a second)
Waran: What were you doing outside last night.
Kherik:… it does not matter. What happened to you last night?
Waran: An assassin tried to sneak into my room and I caught him, he escaped but his cloak was ton in the process. (Shows a pick of torn cloth) The cloak he wore had similar markings to the ones on that clasp.
Raiken: Ekrull seems to be trying to send us a message through his lackeys. Waran, the assassin has escaped and it is my belief that he was only to prove a distraction.
(Waran nods)
Waran: We have no time to worry about it though, we must be off to find the artifacts.
(He puts his hand out in a gesture as if to have Raiken, and Kherik shake it.)
(Kherik shakes his hand)
(Raiken shakes his hand)
Waran: I wish you luck friends, but I must be off to make sure Orin and Ronan finish their preparations.

(Waran leaves the room)
(Kherik looks at the clasp still in Raiken’s hand then stares at the hilt of his sword)
Kherik: I was out hunting if you still must know. Do you think I should tell them what I am?
Raiken: Waran does know, but the rest need not know of your affliction… vampire.
(Kherik leaves still staring at his sword: view of hilt reveals the Nekorai seal on it)
--End of Episode--
-Episode 2 begin-
-begin scene 1-
(show Waran, Orin, and Ronan, Waran waiting for Orin and Ronan to gather the last of their things)
Waran: Hurry, please we must be off soon.
(As Orin gathers the last of her things she turns to Waran and looks him over)
Orin: So why do you have your hair in that thingy, boy?
Waran: er… this thingy is called a topknot, and I am no boy miss halfling.
Orin: oh? You think your big and bad mister man?
(Waran sighs and asks Ronan if he is done)
(Ronan grabs the rest of his stuff and they leave.)

--Scene II—
(Kherik buys supplies in town then meets up with Raiken)
Kherik: Where should we head out?
Raiken: Waran’s supposed to head north, so I suggest you head south.
(Kherik meets with Erik and Neacal)
(Erik grabs a pack and tries to lift it)
Erik (grunting with effort): What did you pack in here?
Kherik: Basic supplies.
Erik: Basic supplies! This thing weighs a ton!
Kherik: You do not want to try my patience today.
Erik: I cannot carry this.
Kherik: The paladin doesn’t seem to have a problem with it, and Neacal’s pack is heavier than yours.
(View Neacal lifting the pack with ease)
Kherik: If you are such a wimp that you cannot lift a backpack then maybe you do not deserve to follow. We do not need weaklings on our team.
(Erik lifts the pack)
(Kherik, Neacal and Erik leave town with Erik lagging behind)

--Scene III--

(Waran, Orin, and Ronan walk down the road)
Ronan: So, ‘Waran’ what religion do you follow?
Waran: None.
Ronan: What do you mean none? That’s nearly impossible!
Waran: I follow no deities; I follow the code of the Bugei and my own instincts.
Ronan: Bugei?
Waran: The code of my people.
Ronan: Your people? You look to be jut like any other human to me.
Waran: (sighs) I looks to be, Cleric. LOOK TO BE!
(Orin steps between them and wraps her arms around their waists)
Orin: come on! Quit fighting!
Ronan: Fine!
Waran: I was not fighting.
(Orin removes her arms from their waists and attempts to stride swiftly away from them)
(Waran grabs her wrist and opens her hand with a odd movement, revealing a small hunting knife)
(Orin jumps as this happens)
Waran: I would like it if you did not try to steal such petty things from me Miss Orin.
Orin (nervously): what are you talking about??!!
Waran: That knife was just in my belt, and is now in your hand. I’m very perceptive.
(Orin sighs and hands the knife back)
Orin: For someone that looks so dull, you really are surprising!
(Waran and Orin chuckle and Ronan sighs)

heres more!

--Scene IV—
(Kherik walks through a marsh followed closely by Neacal; Erik still lags behind but not by much)
Erik: I have a bad feeling about this place.
Kherik: Just don’t do anything foolish and you should be fine, sorcerer.
Neacal: I have to agree with the sorcerer. There is much evil in this place.
Kherik: Your concern is noted paladin, but this place is strangely familiar. I feel we are headed in the right direction.
(In the shadows of the trees a lone figure follows Kherik’s group)
Emmerich: Greetings, allow me to introduce myself. I am Emmerich and my blade will be your doom.
(Kherik turns around and sees Emmerich; Kherik has a look of familiarity on his face)
Emmerich: YOU! What are you doing helping these fools!
Kherik: You seem familiar though I know not from where?
Emmerich: You have forgotten? No matter, you shall die traitor.
(Emmerich draws his sword, a cruel blade made of crystal of almost onyx blackness; the sword glows with an inner fury)
Neacal: You will have to go through me first fallen one. (Neacal draws his sword which glows silvery white)
Kherik: Stay back paladin, this is my fight. (Kherik unsheathes his sword which resembles a katana or a wakizashi)
(Emmerich steps forward, sword drawn)
Emmerich: Always the honorable one, eh… you should have let your pet paladin help you.
(Neacal takes a step forward and stops dead in his tracks as Kherik gazes at him)
Kherik: One more step paladin, and I will slaughter you just as quickly as him. ( points to Emmerich)

--Scene V—

(Waran, Ronan and Orin walk further down the road, near a small village and a large mysterious looking Castle)
Waran (Smiling): I remember this place.
Orin (Curiously): Where are we?
Ronan: It seems to be like any other province, Orin.
Waran: Ronan, not everything is what it seems, you’re a cleric so you should know that.
