I just hit 12th lvl Wizard in a campaign that has been running for over two years. I plan on bumping my Int score up to 18 this level. Aside from the normal bonuses to spell DC, bonus spells, etc I was curious how to apply the +1 skill point. Is it from this point on I gain an additional skill/lvl or is it retroactive to all of the levels I have taken. The only reason I ask is Constitution. Usually with a Con increase (even from Bear's Endurance) it applies an extra bonus per level. I was just curious how others have handled increased Int in their games or if there was a page number that might help.

I can honestly see the fact that skills have been learned in the past before I recieved this insight in Int. And from now on I'd simply keep getting an additional skill point every level. Hehe, though it would be nice though to add some extra skills to my reportoi.

Yes, it is from this point on that you get an additional skill point.
You do not gain any points retroactively.

Even Constitution is not "retroactive". Your Con bonus affects your *maximum* hit point total.
