| EyelessBeholder07-08-07, 09:02 PM | The idea of your scores for all you major abilities Pretty much base your characters around one tue ideal. But what is that person decides to go a different route. "Hey DM i want to put into affect that my character decides to work lesso n his speed and more on his strength." "Why would your character want to do that" "Honestly he is jealous of the strenth others show while he is just a skrawny pile of bones" So is there anything people woul have in mind. I just assume say he takes like 6 months too a year that he trains in strength and switches his DEX for STR? Any ideas? |
| CryoSilver07-08-07, 09:05 PM | Suggestion 1: Grammar. Suggestion 2: Use the existing rules for raising ability scores. |
| KillerVole07-08-07, 11:20 PM | Try the rebuilding rules in the Player's Handbook 2. They cover this exact situation. |
| OleOneEye07-08-07, 11:25 PM | It would probably strain credibility for a character to go from having a 10 Strength and 18 Dexterity to having an 18 Strength and 10 Dexterity through mundane ways. However, magic can accomplish many things. Perhaps a well worded Wish or Miracle is what you are seeking. |
