It seem's like with our group that anytime somone is about to lvl it means death

and well tomorow is a big session in which is spose to be dangerous we where kinda warned that tomorow is gona be hell but to make it worse

Darfous = 1.3k from a lvl
Monika = 8k from lvl
Max = 9k from lvl
Karast = 2k from lvl
Medic = 4k from lvl
Kyser = 6k from lvl

The rest of the party is pretty far but look at all those people that are gona lvl at the end of this session!! somones dieing i just know it :")

Anyone else have this problem ?

Six characters are about to level, and you say "the rest of the party" is pretty far? How many PCs in your game?

What's the reason for the revised experience chart?

What's the reason for the revised experience chart?From the looks of it, they really enjoying playing mid levels (5 to 12 ish), and have drastically extended their stay in that range.

Our DM didnt like the 3.0 lvling chart he said it advances to fast i think we would be like around 17th lvl by now if we went by it and would be moshing threw the adventure.. which i do see his point the new lvling chart makes ya kinda apricate the lvl more so you dont just fly threw it imo

we have uhh let me think a sec hehe 9 PC's and 4 players - One of our players is running 4 characters (when we first started playing our group was smaller) now we are kinda just hopeing 2 of them will die so we are all running 2 characters (sept 1 guy whos running 1)

I run - Cleric and a Sorc
Karl Runs - Sorc, Wiz, Cleric, Rogue
Kneis runs - Fighter
Brian Runs - Fighter - Bard

I didn't use experience in my most recent campaign. The PCs levelled when I needed them to advance to be od sufficient level for the next adventure arc. If I had only one adventure arc at a given level, they levelled after that. If I had three adventures at a given level, they stayed where they were for all three.

Rather than kill two of the guy's characters, just ask him to retire two of them. 4 PCs for one player is ridiculous.

Seeker - That sounds like the same system Blue Rose uses. Since everyone needs the same XP anyways, it makes a lot more sense too
