| beezly01-08-05, 09:45 AM | Hey, i purchased the 3.0 adventure game to just give an intro to my players, and i noticed that there was a blank character sheet, but no explination on how to make a new character with these rules. It seems that the already generated figures have skill points added to them. If anybody has run into this before let me know and explain what you did. |

| Aramil_silverwind01-11-05, 01:06 PM | Sorry to say.. but you wasted however much cash you put into that adventure game.The adventure synopsese are useful (i'm using alot of them for my current group) but other than that, its completely obselete and even worse, very difficult to use. Buy the new basic set... its only like 20$ (good buy for whats inside) and it has all the rules. including character creation rules. And it uses 3.5 rules.... so your players won't be confused when they can't find "Pick Pockets" in the PHB. And even better, the Basic Set includes REAL miniatures: not just cardboard tokens! But if you're dead-set on using the adventure game... you gotta use the pre-generated characters. Its the only way to go, unless you have a real PHB handy. But then again, if you did, you wouldn't be using the adventure game... |
