| Agentrock10-06-06, 12:49 AM | I'm sure there is a thread (or more) out there that lists adventuring group names - if so, can someone direct me? If not, what group names has anyone used in their campaigns? |
| Darkxarth10-06-06, 12:58 AM | Order of the Stick Linear Guild The Light Warriors But seriously, most of the groups I've played in haven't had names. Although, they might be a part of an Adventurer's Guild. |
| Adam Smite10-06-06, 01:05 AM | One group I played in was "A Few Good Men, Demon Slayers for Hire" Other than that, all of the groups were mostly random people on a specific quest. |
| Nebo10-06-06, 01:11 AM | In my current campaign we are a group of soldiers called 'the Irregulars', the ones that didn't fit anywhere else in the army. |
| Robert_Fox_Kitsune10-06-06, 07:58 AM | The knights of the chalice (a group we played in service of the kingdom) Raths gang, featuring Jose (Rath was very egocentric and insisted to every NPC the group WAS called this. Jose was his best freind) Generally adventuring groups are best known by their acheivements, same as the actual characters. |

All names for anything in WotC's D&D simply need a compound word and then either a noun or an adjective. Its easy! Take two words - doesn't matter what and then think of something stupid like killing or smashing or 'coolness' The Yellowvein Posers The Ghoulstride Jumpers The Steelclad Mauraders The Lowborn Hustlers The Low spark of high-heeled boys. Also - make sure you have at least 9 different kinds of golems travelling with your party. |

| mearrin6910-06-06, 10:41 AM | Well, this whole thing about naming your group is new to me but my current party, playing in Dungeon's Age of Worms, has chosen to call itself the Diamond Lake Avengers (or DLA) so it can enter an arena contest. A little silly but the Pali made up a graffitti-like symbol for DLA and I arcane mark it onto the forehead of everyone that gets our beatdown. Hey, it's a dumb name but it beats our competitors': The Chaotic Caftans, Lolth 4ever, and some others that are somewhat less memorable. I wish I could remember the name of the group of kenku headed by a slimy crowfellow name of Toucan. It's classic but slips my grasp at the moment. M |
| metalmorphosis10-06-06, 10:44 AM | We don't have an adventuring name now, but in a prior campaign we worked out of an inn my character owned. It's name was Two Big Jugs. |
