Against the Giants? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-27-06, 11:46 AM I was browsing through the Map-A-Week section and keep seeing maps from "Against the Giants" but a search of the D&D site only returns more Map-A-Week hits. I've been wanting to run a giant-centric campaign and this has got me all a twitter.

Can anyone shed any light on Against the Giants?

It's an old TSR module (actually series of mods), which was rerelased in 1999. I believe the maps are from that.

Does anyone know of a good ready to run 3.5 compatible adventure that revolves around or at least features heavily giants? I have the latest Dragon and that's what has gotten me obsessing.

As a matter of fact, I do! There's a 3-part adventure arc in Dungeon MAgazine called Istivin: City of Shadows that acts as a sort of sequal to Against the Giants. It's in issues 117-119. The second part is the one that specifically features giants.
