| Kimokeo05-09-05, 10:43 PM | I have two questions that I'm seeking input since it is a grey area in my game and I'm interested in the concensus: Based on the large number of high level characters I've seen on the forums, what level was your character when they reached Middle Age and the Old? When a character chooses to change classes, what is normally the amount of time your character spends to become the new class? Basically, did you adventure until you went up a level, choose the new class, and you began life with the new class or did you go up a level and spend time (months/years) before attaining the new class? |
| Board_Rider05-09-05, 11:06 PM | Honestly I think that my 15th level character may have aged two years in game before playing a new campaign. But our group jut doesn't really take into account that aspect. While I personally do not use training for multi-classing there are many varied systems that I have seen. |
| Ottergame05-10-05, 01:48 AM | Eh, I don't think more then a tiny handful of years have ever passed in any campgain I have been in. I think 4 or 5 is the most, before getting up to mid to high teens. Hell, in some games in 2ed edition we would spend just hours at a given level, fighting so much as to level up twice in the same day at the low levels. |
