It's always struck me as odd that bonuses are granted for old age. A bonus to intellegence? Elderly people tend to have bad memories. A bonus to wisdom? Elderly people tend to be less in touch with reality. A bonus charisma? Elderly people are often crotchety.

Only if said character is suffering from a medical mental condition, although they are geriatric-related. Not everyone suffer the symptons you described.

And Charisma is more about presence than about appearance. Then again, we have been taught since childhood to respect our elders ... well, at least those in non-dysfunctional family and community environment. :smirk:

But really it goes by the old saying of older and wiser.

Have you really ever set with an old person and talked to them?
They can tell you all kinds of storys and tell you so much about the world.

So I think it is right they get a Int, Wis, and Cha boost.

I mean think of the storys a 90 year old Bard might tell you...
