Air Genasi and Elemental Savant (Air) [Archive] - Wizards Community

I've been wondering, if some of the Racial Abilities of an Air Genasi and some of the Class Features of an Elemental Savant (Air) do stack?
E.g. both get Darkvision 60 feet, does that mean this character would benefit from 120 feet Darkvision?

06-24-04, 08:45 AM I'd extend it out to 90', 120' is too much. However there is no real precedent for it. Does that mean it will augment a dwarf's darkvision as well?

06-24-04, 09:26 AM Unless it states otherwise, Darkvision doesn't stack.

However, your DM may be kind enough to tweak the reality.

06-24-04, 09:47 AM Another question came to my mind. What Aging Effects table do Genasi use? Since they are native outsiders, they can't use the human table, or what do u think?
I already looked at the books i own and found no table concerning Genasi.

06-24-04, 12:11 PM Races of Faerūn and Player's Guide to Faerūn have the age tables for the planetouched. I won't go to details, but the age thresholds are 20 to 30 years less than those of half-elves.
