When a good cleric summons an animal (via spell) to battle for her, what should be the considerations regarding alignment if any. Let's say for an example, a good cleric summons a celestial monkey to open a chest she knows is trapped, or gets a celestial owl to hold off a group of orcs whilst the party escapes. ...or gets a summoned dolphin to plug a hole with it's body, etc... |
| Seeker9503-03-06, 03:36 PM | The caster knows the summoned creatures cannot be killed. There are no alignment considerations with the possible exception of who the cleric instructs the summoned creature to attack. |
